What If
“Joseph’s brothers realized what their father’s death could mean. So they thought, “What if Joseph holds a grudge against us? What if he decides to pay us back for all the evil we did to him?” “They sent a messenger to Joseph to say, “Before your father died, he commanded us,”‘This is what you should say to Joseph, “I’m begging you to forgive the crime and the sin your brothers committed against you. What they did to you was very evil.”‘ So now, please forgive our crime, because we are servants of your father’s God.” Joseph cried when he got their message.”
Genesis‬ 50:15-17‬ GW‬‬‬‬‬‬
What if?
Many times we speculate and worry ourselves out because of our anxious thoughts.
What is giving you sleepless nights right now?
Joseph’s Brothers in our text were worried.

However, their worries did NOT materialize because Joseph had moved on.
Sometimes the ravaging thoughts that what we allow to hold us back does not exist.
“Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid! I can’t take God’s place.”
Genesis‬ 50:19‬ GW‬‬‬‬‬‬
” Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 4:6-7(TPT)
Remember The 80/20 Rule: the Pareto Principle
It encourages you to identify very productive activities and focus on them instead of worrying about time-wasting activities. …
As you start this new day, week, and month, do away with speculative thoughts and activities.
Again don’t be pulled in different directions worrying on what if?.
