The man who trusts in man…The man who trusts in the Lord,

“Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:5-8(NKJV)

The difference is quite clear.

Your Trust is in man or in the Lord God Almighty.

When your Trust is in man, you take your focus off God.

You do things based on your connections.

There is no guarantee that man delivers on his promise.

They tell you “circumstances beyond their control” happened.

The arm of the flesh indeed fails. (1 Samuel 2:9)

However, when your Trust in the Lord

His Promises based on His Word never fails.

You experience the Peace of God regardless of the challenges.

You receive divine wisdom and instructions daily as you ask Him.

You are not moved or confused by what people say.

How are you handling that situation today?

Take a moment to check yourself out.

Trusting in man or Trusting in the Lord ?.
