Did you learn anything from your experiences?
“And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.” Exodus 32:1(KJV).
It is unbelievable.
After everything God did for them:
They became impatient when Moses took too long to come down the mountain.
Instead, would you not have sent out a search party to look for him?
Shortly after God told them not to have any other gods, they gave up all their precious possessions to make a golden calf.
After experiencing everything God did for them, they should have learned to trust God.
They did not.
Do you learn from your experiences or forget what God did for you?.
Do you experience the marvelous grace and help God gives you, or do you take it for granted?
Are you gathering unto an Aaron in your life?
Or are you patiently waiting for God to show up?
Remember, God does not have to help you.
He helps because He loves you, and He cares for you.
Application to the Christian life:
Appreciate what God does for you.
Learn from your experiences.
Learn to trust God.
Allow God to guide you.
