Are You Doing Your Part ?

“When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”
Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.” Matthew 8:5-10.
The centurion approached Jesus to come and heal his servanthowever in his prayer to Jesus he knew he had a part to do.
He had meditated and clearly thought out what God will do and what he will do. Unfortunately many of us approach God with the mindset that God will do 100% of our request once we ask him. That’s not God’s way. God expect you to do your own part of the deal too. Here the centurion needed to confess and act out his faith by opening his mouth to declare what he believed. Many of us don’t even figure out or think through our request to God. As we saw Jesus was willing to come to his house to heal his servant but his practical faith at work declared that the servant will be healed once Jesus spoke the word.
How are you approaching God for answers to your request?
God created us in His image and expects us to do our part in exercising dominion here on earth.
Today set time aside to think and properly hear from God what you need to bring Solutions to that challenge you are  facing.
HE is always willing but do you know the right things to say  and to do in getting your answers ?
Don’t just leave everything in God’s hand you have a part to do as well.

Turning bitter to sweet

” Then Moses made Israel set out from the Red Sea, and they went into the wilderness of Shur. They went three days in the wilderness and found no water. When they came to Marah, they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter; therefore it was named Marah.[a] And the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a log,[b] and he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet.
There the Lord[c] made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them,” Ex 15:23-25
We all get to experience some bitter situations in our lives. But we must not stop there. That bitter experience will not be forever. It will soon turn to sweetness.
The butterfly moth has to struggle and break out for it to become that beautiful butterfly that we love to see.
Your life journey is designed to let you experience some bitter phases. God in His wisdom allows such to bring the sweetness out so that you can always appreciate Him more.
Like the Israelites experience in the verses above it was a test to make them trust Him. In their dependence on Him they found the solution to change the situation. When you too trust God in this bitterness you passing through He will show you the way to sweetness.
Whatever challenge you passing through God has the solution.
Find time to hear Him and obey Him.
He will turn that bitter situation to sweetness.

Double life ?

Deceitful life is not good. Don’t live one day further living a double life of being a saint and sinner. Self Deception keeps telling you that nobody will know. Really you are just being simply foolish.
God clearly states that whatever a man/ woman sows you will reap. By now you should know that the sin you do secretly and hide will one day destroy you. Sin like the Bible describes it is stolen waters and it’s sweet but later it will give you a bitter aftertaste that last much longer than the initial sweet taste.
Stop rationalizing sin and searing your conscience that others do it too.
The fact that you have not been caught till now is not an excuse to do it one more time. As you read this piece know that what you consider as hidden and unknown is plain and clear before God and it has a judgment waiting.
Make up your mind not to yield to that sin one more time.
 Call upon God.
As you sincerely say NO to sin and ask HIM to help you He will surely help you. Remember He created you as an overcomer and that’s the true way you should live daily.
You are more than a conqueror through the Grace of God and you can stop living a double life .

You will succeed.

God never doubted that His Son will be able to accomplish the mission of the cross. Why do you hesitate in fulfilling your assignments?
The same God is your God backing-you. You have the same resources made available to Jesus as man.
You are unstoppable.
Let’s keep praising Him. His Word will not fail as long as we are on His assignment and listening to Him.
When you look at the facts don’t forget the promises of God that backs up your desires.
Do you know of any project God started and failed? NONE.
So don’t give up. When Jesus gave the commission to the then fearful disciples to complete. HE believed in them. He stood by them. HE is with you.
One with God is majority.
Be encouraged you will succeed in your assignments.

Looking For God ?

Looking for God? HE is nearer you than you think. Actually HE is inside of you. We encounter God where we are least expecting it in the most unusual places, while driving,in the train, bus store, business meeting, waiting for the next client. Sometimes HE speaks in those quiet moments in betweens.
As you go through the day, keep an ear out for that leading guiding you and commanding you as you go through life.
When you hear God’s voice get to know Him intimately so that whatever you are doing you can hear HIM when HE speaks.
Usually not in the thunders or your familiar patterns. HE does speak from your spirit man inside of you because the HOLY SPIRIT inside you is connected to your spirit.
Develop your spirit to be able to sync with the HOLY SPIRIT at all time because truly HE is inside you.

Attraction

What are you attracted to as you start out this new week ?
Likely your dominating thoughts guide what you are attracted to.
What has attraction got to do with thoughts.? Attraction and thoughts ?  ? As a man thinks so he becomes.
You want to be sure your thoughts are in line with your purpose.
Allowing healthy thoughts about your body is essential for your energy and zeal to do your assignments this new week. Every recollection of how many sick people you have heard about or seen in the last few hours should not send symptoms of sickness to your own body rather take control of your thoughts to see yourself young healthy with grace and agility to do your assignments. Be attracted to the testimony of Moses who in spite of age had all his vitals strong and healthy.
When you look at your wallet and bank accounts see the abundance that the kingdom of God promises you as you obey.
Rise again  to bless your family members and see them where the promises of God has declared them to be. Let the picture of that prosperous family be what you are attracted to .
Pay attention only to those that will add value to your purpose
That’s what should be attractive to you.
