As a man is, so is his strength.

“And he said to Jether his firstborn, “Rise, kill them!” But the youth would not draw his sword; for he was afraid, because he was still a youth.
So Zebah and Zalmunna said, “Rise yourself, and kill us; for as a man is, so is his strength.” So Gideon arose and killed Zebah and Zalmunna, and took the crescent ornaments that were on their camels’ necks.”  Judges 8:20-21
How is your strength today to carry out the assignment God has given you to do?
Gideon in the above verses in the Bible had captured the enemies of Israel and wanted his firstborn son to finish up the job by killing the men but the son could not because he was still a youth who has not exercised himself with such warfare.
The Kingdom world has just celebrated the ultimate power of the resurrection of our Lord with which HE gave us all the power and authority to finish off the enemy and reign and rule till HE returns again.
However some have been behaving like that youth afraid to take possession of what God has given them. In the story above it was fear that paralyzed the youth that could not make him carry out what his Dad had asked him to do. Remember David was about this age when  he alone  had killed the lion and the bear himself with God’s grace upon his life.
Don’t let fear hinder you from what God has given you as victory.
Don’t remain a novice in the things of God and spiritual warfare as the Bible has said, as a man is so is his strength.  Paul encouraged us to grow in the things of God and not just keep feeding on childish nutrition .Let your growth be like David who put away fear and acted on what God has told him.
The whole world is awaiting the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God to take their dominion place in this world so we have to grow and be what God has commanded us to be.
How is your strength today? All power and authority HE has given you to possess your possession
