Why Believe in God?
“Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen; I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.” (Psalm 46:8- 11) KJV
Jesus wasn’t surprised when people still didn’t want to believe in God (Luke 16:31).
For some people, unless they see God with their two eyes, he simply doesn’t exist.
God did make Himself visible to people, in the person of Jesus Christ.
Why do we believe that God exists?
HE really does exist! (Psalm 46:10) KJV
People want to see God, but please don’t forget:
The only way to know God is through REVELATION!
Faith is being able to see invisible realities.
Most people see life as an arc that starts with the birth that we can’t remember, and ends with our death, which we can’t imagine.
Jesus spoke about His role before His birth and after His death.
It’s to my advantage to believe in God… through Christ.
True faith in God is changing my life, values, conduct, and destiny.
Hope you really believe in God?
Trust that this faith is continually changing your life too.
Application for the Christian life:
See everything around you.
Realize it is the creation only God could make.
Read the Bible.
Know that all the Bible prophesies are coming into fulfillment.
Only God could let everything happen according to His plan.
Believe in God.
Believe in Jesus.
What you don’t see at times is more accurate than the seen.
