Walk away from your sin

Walk away from your sin
“A short time later, Jesus found the man at the temple and said to him, “Look at you now! You’re healed! Walk away from your sin so that nothing worse will happen to you.” John 5:12-14 (TPT)
Walk away from your sin.
That is what Jesus told the man that was just miraculously healed at the pool of Bethsaida
Once you are in Christ, you are a new creation.
Make conscious efforts to walk away from every sinful habit.
“Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17  (TPT)
Grace is not an excuse to continue under sin.
“So what do we do, then? Do we persist in sin so that God’s kindness and grace will increase? What a terrible thought! We have died to sin once and for all, as a dead man passes away from this life. So how could we live under sin’s rule a moment longer?”  Romans 6:1-2  (TPT)
As you grow in Christ, daily live a blameless life.
“When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’ Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life.” Genesis 17:1 (NLT)
The Holy Spirit is your helper to break every yoke of sin and habits that weighs you down. (Romans 8)
Now you are well; so stop sinning,
You are now well. But don’t sin anymore
You look wonderful! You’re well! Don’t return to a sinning life.
