Took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

“They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.” Matthew 25:1-13 (KJV)

What race of life are you running?

Do you appear prepared or are you really ready?

Are you just putting up motions or are you really in the life’s assignment for your purposeful life?

The five foolish virgins thought they were heading for the same goal like their other five wise counterparts, but they allowed procrastination and assumptions to kill their destiny.

Do what you need to do today, don’t put off what should be done today for tomorrow.

Others always help?

Have you really asked them for help or you are assuming that because you hang out with them, they will really help you in your hour of need?

Don’t just mouth and mentally note the parable of the  five foolish virgins

Examine yourself.

“Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?” 2 Corinthians 13:5(AMPC)

Don’t just be full of activities make sure you know the required dimensions of your calling.

“May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;” Ephesians 3:18  (KJV)

The five foolish virgins did not honestly know

The Breadth

The Length

The Depth

The Height

Of their purpose in life.

Do You?

It’s not too late to change and get oil in your lamp today and be daily ready for your purposeful life.
