Those Things Which Are Before Us.

Those Things Which Are Before Us.
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.” Philippians 3:13 (KJV)
Whenever the day ends.
Or at the end of the year.
We look back and see what happened during that day or during that year.
We have just taken stock of how 2021 went.
To have a day or a year to look back:
You first had a morning when you woke up.
At the end of the day, you know what happened during that day.
At the beginning of that day:
You don’t really know what will happen during that day.
What are the things before us?
None of us have previously walked on the way that is set before us.
It is a brand new day.
You may have fixed routines.
However, each day is new.
Only the Almighty God has the complete picture.
To be successful on this daily journey
We need to walk with Jesus.
Ahead of us is uncertainty.
We live in difficult times.
“But you need to be aware that in the final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce. People will be self-centered lovers of themselves and obsessed with money. They will boast of great things as they strut around in their arrogant pride and mock all that is right. They will ignore their own families. They will be ungrateful and ungodly. They will become addicted to hateful and malicious slander. Slaves to their desires, they will be ferocious, belligerent haters of what is good and right. With brutal treachery, they will act without restraint, bigoted and wrapped in clouds of their conceit. They will find their delight in the pleasures of this world more than the pleasures of the loving God. They may pretend to have a respect for God, but in reality they want nothing to do with God’s power. Stay away from people like these!”
2 Timothy3:1-5(TPT)
Only One Thing is Certain.
We have an Unchanging God.
The world is trembling:
It is changing day by day.
You don’t know what will happen next.
There is One who knows.
He is in control.
He is God.
An unchanging God.
Trust Him!
