Their hearts run far away from me!
“Jesus replied, “You are frauds and hypocrites! How accurately[a] did Isaiah prophesy about you phonies when he said: ‘These people honor me with their words while their hearts run far away from me!”
Mark 7:6 (TPT)
Where is your heart today?
Do you do what you say?
Do your words and actions match each other?
Are you a person of your words?
Jesus actually quoted Isaiah 29:13

Which means it been a while that people say beautiful things about God verbally, but they don’t walk the talk.
“I’m a mystery to myself, for I want to do what is right, but end up doing what my moral instincts condemn.” Romans 7:15
Apostle Paul showed us the way out:
“You are no longer ruled by your desires, but by God’s Spirit, who lives in you. People who don’t have the Spirit of Christ in them don’t belong to him.” Romans 8:9
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, subject your desires to God.
His Grace will enable you to be a man of your words in all areas of your life.
Where is your heart today?
