What Are You Sowing?

by | May 15, 2017

“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Winter and summer,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”   Genesis 8:22
This law is neither limited to agriculture nor tithes and offerings.
It is a universal law that governs all of life from the day God declared it to be so.
Apostle Paul also stated in Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived God is not mocked for you reap whatever you sow.
The Yoruba’s proverbs have a similar adage about a farmer who actually planted 100 seedlings of yams and kept boasting that he planted 200, when the harvest time comes he can only harvest the real 100 and harvest another fake 100.Then it will be obvious for everybody to see because at harvest time the yams will be on the ground for all to see and not in the soil where you can make claims that can not be confirmed.
Sowing is what we do every second of our lives.
When you interact with people what are your thoughts towards them?
Are you radiating a positive energy or negative one?
Every seed earns the right to have a harvest.
When we sow the right kind of seed we will surely get the right kind of harvest.
He who observes the wind will not sow,
And he who regards the clouds will not reap.” Ecclesiastes 11:4
Sometimes the circumstance surrounding you may not be “right” but keep sowing the kind of harvest you desire to harvest.
As you go on with your life today please take a moment to reflect … what type of seed are you sowing?
