The Real Impact of Christmas
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” Luke 2:10-12 (KJV)
Praise God, we have just witnessed another Christmas Day Celebration.
How should the message of Christmas affect you and me?

  1. It Stirs The Soul. It awakens our soul!!!
Our soul was deadened by our sin. The birth of Christ is telling us that Someone came to rescue us from the bondage of sin!
  2. It Simulates Our Devotion. Remember the shepherds?
They were the people who saw and heard the message from the angel. After they listened to the news, they went to verify if it was true.
Understanding the message of God should simulate our devotion to Him!
  3. It Substantiates His Love.
This is how much God loves mankind! He sent His Son on our earth.
To be one of us. ( To have fellowship with the Trinity)
  4. It Seeks His Glory. The message of Christmas is God’s glory!.
Jesus came to the world to seek and restore God’s glory that man lost. Don’t ever forget this!
  5. It Strengthens Our Hope.
    Do we really need hope?
    What kind of hope?
The hope that we can be reconciled with God.
This implies the truth that we have PEACE with God.
Let every one that meets with you know the impact of Christ.
    This is the real essence.
Knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
It’s incredible how Real and Impactful the message of Christmas is!
