Stop defending yourself put your trust in God.

“O Lord my God, in You I put my trust;
Save me from all those who persecute me;
And deliver me,” Psalm 7:1
Lets learn from King David again today about letting God defend you and vindicate you.
There will be things said about you either past present and future that will not only baffle you but will not be true. If you embark on a one by one-personal approach to people to defend and clarify your position you will end up losing focus on your life’s purpose.
King David in the above scripture put his trust in God to defend him when he was apparently misjudged.
Today focus on your purposeful assignments in life and don’t bother about what people are saying about you.
Check your relationship with God like David did and let His praises fill your mouth and saturate your life rather than wasting your time in trying to explain your position.
“Now when King David came to Bahurim, there was a man from the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei the son of Gera, coming from there. He came out, cursing continuously as he came.  And he threw stones at David and at all the servants of King David. And all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.” 2 Samuel 16:5-6
David again in the above passage ignored the curses from Shimei and kept his attention on how God was going to deliver him.
Don’t try to settle scores with all those who either curse you to your face or say it behind you.
 Keep your eyes on what God has purposed for you .
You will be living behind a legacy of your achievements in life like David did.
“ I’m thanking God, who makes things right. I’m singing the fame of heaven-high God.” Psalm 7:17
Thank God today like David did.
Praise HIM today and always .
God is your defender.
