Hid in Mine Heart.
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119: 11 (KJV)
“What’s in your wallet?”
This is one of the phrases used for advertising credit cards.
They are marketing the concept that you can purchase anything you want with some advantages over other brands once you have that card.
Today, the Real question is, what’s really in your heart?
Preacher, you just asked me what my thought life is like…?
Why are you asking me what is in my heart?
The truth is that the contents of your heart determine the outcome of your thought patterns, which then determine the choices you make in life. The key to having a successful relationship with God and not sinning against Him is ensuring that the Word of God is dominant in your heart.
From your heart come the issues of life.
(Proverbs 4:23) KJV
Thank God for technology that makes it very easy for you to hear the Word of God in the most convenient form to you anywhere and anytime. Resolve to take your fill of the Word each day. Especially relating to the God-given assignments that you have.
The Word of God available in your heart determines. How far you will go in God.
Head or mental knowledge of the scriptures is not the same.
Allow it to stay in your heart.
You can only achieve this through meditation and complete dedication.
The Word of God in your heart will not only help you to live a holy life that is pleasing to God but ultimately delivers you and causes you to become prosperous in life.
Make a concrete decision to store the Word of God in your heart which will catapult you into fulfilling your God-given destiny.
Spend some time today checking what is in your heart.
Application for the Christian life:
Keep God’s Word in your heart.
Listen and obey that Word.
