I found one cent somewhere on my study table and naturally like we do for the coins in my household wanted to put in into the coin jar in the house but I heard the inner voice that told me keep it on me . 1 cent ?
Generally I don’t like carrying coins but I obeyed and from the beginning of the week kept it in my pocket daily. Thursday afternoon as I was heading back home I branched at one of the stores close to the house to buy some items and when the man rang the bill it was $X.01. Bling I remembered the one single coin I have been carrying about for days.
God cares so much about me that HE knew days ahead that I will need that coin because I would not like them to give me a change of 99cents.
In so many ways God speaks to us and make provisions for our needs.
HE gave the children of Israel Gold when they were leaving Egypt because they will need it for building the Tabernacle in the wilderness which they initially misused for building the golden calf.
What is it that God is asking you to add on today that will be useful ahead?
It may be to keep an X amount because somebody in need will come across your path.
It may be to research a topic because a soul that needs proper counsel and may be seating to you on your next flight.
It may be a strong impression to pray for that brother or sister you have not seen for years.
Whatever the nudge the Holy Spirit is giving you to do please do it and get ready to be available for God
As I stood on the line ready to pay I searched for my 1 cent and did not find it on me and there was a line behind me waiting to make payment too. I had to take the change I don’t like carrying and guess what ? I found it on me when I got home. It was still in one of my pockets. I repented and promise to do better when next God has prepared me ahead.
