For we know in part.

For we know in part.
“Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away. When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways. For now, we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries[ as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood.”
1 Corinthians 13:9-12 (TPT)
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
Now we know so little, even with our special gifts, and the preaching of those most gifted is still so poor.
We don’t know everything, and our prophecies are not complete.
Our knowledge is incomplete, and our ability to speak what God has revealed is incomplete.
Are things happening and you don’t understand?
Don’t Despair.
Don’t get confused.
Don’t give up on God.
We pass through certain phases in our lives, and it appears like the dark?
Where are we?
What is going on?
In such moments remember His unfailing Love.
Remember He has said:
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
“I will never leave you, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!”
(Hebrews 13:5)
At a time, Elijah thought he was the only Prophet standing for God.
“Last man standing’ Fervent Zealous, persecuted.
Later he got to know 7000 men had already given their all for God too.
Initially, he did not know.
Elisha had such a moment too.
“… Elisha said, “Leave her alone! Don’t you see how sad she is? But the LORD hasn’t told me why.” 2 Kings 4:27 (CEV)
When the woman with the issue of the blood touched Jesus :
He asked who touched me.
He, as Jesus, did not immediately know.
God the Father told Him after the Fact.
This issue, too, when it pleases the Father, you will understand.
Again when Jesus was asked when He would return.
He clearly said that is the prerogative of the Father.
He mandated us to continue to walk in Love and Occupy till He comes.
One day as Paul said in our text.
We will get the complete picture.
Till then,
Remain Steadfast and Unmovable.
He Loves You Unconditionally.
Love Him too, Regardless.
