Flee also youthful lusts.
“Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”
2 Timothy 2:22 (NKJV)
“Run as fast as you can from all the ambitions and lusts of youth, and chase after all that is pure. Whatever builds up your faith and deepens, your love must become your holy pursuit. And live in peace with all those who worship our Lord Jesus with pure hearts.”
2 Timothy 2:22 (TPT)
What constitutes youthful lusts?
The lust for money.
The desire for honor and recognition.
 The lust for power.
Sexual attraction to another person outside of the Holy marriage.
The above outline of youthful passions is a gateway for sin to enter one’s life.
Sin colorfully packages itself in so many deceptive forms and shapes.
Run as fast as you can from sin.
Flee from sin.
Runaway from infantile indulgence
Run from temptations that capture young people
Make a quality decision today not to allow any impure thoughts to materialize.
“But more than anything else put God’s work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.” Matthew 6:33 (CEV)
Consistently put God First in all areas of your life.
Don’t allow the deceptive attractions to delay or even destroy your God-Given Destiny.
“So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly” Matthew 6:33 (TPT)
God’s original thoughts and plans for you, as contained in the Bible, is real.
Sin will always try to lure you as it did to Adam and Eve and take away what God has already given you through falsehood.
“Shine your eyes.”
Move far away from every thrilling and often exciting deception of sin.
