“And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” John 9:2
When the disciples saw the man that was born blind, their facts and logic led them to conclude and asked Jesus a question limiting HIM to choose one of their two options.
Most of the time when we see facts and follow our natural senses to judge we may not be right as the disciples were wrong in their analysis above.
“Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.” John 9:3
Jesus answered them above letting them know that it’s not logic all the time but knowing the mind of God on issues is foremost.
“But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened on his hand. So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.” Acts 28:3-4
The villagers who first had an encounter with Paul on firsthand after his shipwreck logically concluded wrongly that nemesis was catching up with him however they were wrong.
It was another opportunity for God to showcase Himself “They kept expecting him to drop dead, but when it was obvious he wasn’t going to, they jumped to the conclusion that he was a god!”
Their logical deductions were not right.
Don’t hastily conclude on matters.
Always find the mind of God on issues especially when you are pronouncing judgment.
“The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?” John 4:11
The Samaritan woman too logically concluded that since she could not see a bucket in the hands of Jesus how would HE draw the water to give?
Step up to know the mind of God on facts and situation reports before you conclude.
“And now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may turn to the right hand, or to the left.” Genesis 24:49 (KJV)
Tell me straight is what Eliezer (Abraham’s Servant} asked Laban and his family concerning Rebekah, the spouse God has just led him to find for Isaac.
Our world is full of double talk, and you find this anomaly amongst church people too.
Maybe Eliezer had discerned that Laban could be a con master as he later dealt with Jacob with several double-dealings.
Do you talk straight?
Is your word your bond?
Do you talk both to the right and left and your hearers and followers are confused as to what you are saying?
The Bible says let your Yes be Yes, and your NO be NO.
Some Bible teachers are so political that they will give you every other opinion and authorities on the subject except what the Biblical stand is.
“And don’t say anything you don’t mean. This counsel is embedded deep in our traditions. You only make things worse when you lay down a smoke screen of pious talk, saying, ‘I’ll pray for you,’ and never doing it, or saying, ‘God be with you,’ and not meaning it. You don’t make your words true by embellishing them with religious lace. In making your speech sound more religious, it becomes less true. Just say ‘yes’ and ‘no.’ When you manipulate words to get your own way, you go wrong.” Matthew 5:33-3 7 The Message (MSG)
Be a reliable person that can always point people in the right direction.
Paul says follow me as I follow Christ. No confusion in Paul understanding Christ.
God has assured you HE will never leave you confused.
” And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:21 (KJV)
“Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near. Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.” Philippians 4:5-7 (TPT)
Deal kindly and honestly with every person you have to deal with.
Let your stand on every issue be known and clear to all.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)2 Corinthians 10:4 Kings (KJV)
You are first and foremost a spiritual person. Therefore, your weapons of warfare are in the spirit realm.
Whatsoever is confronting you locate it spiritually and depend entirely on the Holy Spirit to guide you in your response.
“Afflicted city, storm-battered, unpitied:… If anyone attacks you, don’t for a moment suppose that I sent them And if any should attack, nothing will come of it. I create the blacksmith who fires up his forge and makes a weapon designed to kill. I also create the destroyer— But no weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged. Any accuser who takes you to court will be dismissed as a liar. This is what God’s servants can expect. I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best.” God’s Decree.” Isaiah 54:11-17 (MSG)
Let your eyes of understanding be opened to the facts of who you are in Christ Jesus.
Do not just treat this issue as an ordinary person and seeking the solution from social media or google.
“For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 (TPT)
“The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to Aaron and say to him, ‘When you set up the lamps, see that all seven light up the area in front of the lampstand.’ Aaron did so; he set up the lamps so that they faced forward on the lampstand, just as the Lord commanded Moses. This is how the lampstand was made: It was made of hammered gold—from its base to its blossoms. The lampstand was made exactly like the pattern the Lord had shown Moses.”. Numbers 8:1-4 (KJV)
How are you implementing the vision God has given you?’
Are you still following the exact blueprint he gave you?
Mosses did precisely what God told him to do concerning the tabernacle. The results were obvious. God appeared and talked with him as promised.
How are you handling what God has given you to do?
Don’t add the wisdom of man to it to make it look attractive.
Many in the body of Christ are copying from Hollywood attractions and attention catchers to appear fashionable and pull the crowd.
It is the world that should learn from the church and not the other way round.
By the way, did you receive what you are doing from God or you are just following what the trend is?
Find out from God exactly what you should do and how to do it.
Moses followed God verbatim. He knew what God showed him and went for precisely that.
Jesus said I do and say exactly what I hear from my father.
“For I’m not speaking as someone who is self-appointed, but I speak by the authority of the Father himself who sent me, and who instructed me what to say. And I know that the Father’s commands result in eternal life, and that’s why I speak the very words I’ve heard him speak.” John 12:49-50(TPT)
Today and always do only exactly what God has instructed you to say and do.
After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, ‘Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.'” (Nehemiah 4:14) NIRV
God has always been, and He is still in the business of keeping families together. His strategy of occupying and having dominion is mirrored through His creation of Adam and Eve and the subsequent mandate he gave them.
In our scriptures for today, Nehemiah reminded the surviving Israelites that the challenge to repossess and rebuild Jerusalem was not just about the individual but also for the survival of the family together.
When Moses initially approached Pharaoh to let the Israelites go and worship God, he told him to go with the men and leave the women and the children behind. However, Moses said NO. It has to be everybody together.
The world tends to celebrate and isolate as successful the single man or woman and sometimes totally “forgetting” that the ideal successful man has a successful woman behind him and vice versa the successful woman has a man beside her.
In the kingdom business Apostle, Paul told the jailer “you and your household will be saved.” (Acts 16:31)
How are you doing today in your life’s assignments?
Remember it’s not solely about you alone.
Don’t be like King Hezekiah that heard the judgment of God that will happen after his death.
“So Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The word of the LORD which you have spoken is good!” For he said, “Will there not be peace and truth at least in my days?” 2 Kings 20: 19 (NKJV)
Because it was not going to happen in his time, it was okay for him for the bad judgment to occur during his time. He did not intercede for the next generation.
What legacy are you bequeathing the next generation?
It’s about your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.
“Then he sent Judah before him to Joseph, to point out before him the way to Goshen. And they came to the land of Goshen” Genesis 46:28 (NKJV)
Whenever you need directions to your Goshen, send Praise to the Almighty God.
Jacob needed to get to his longtime fulfillment of meeting Joseph and begin his enjoyable purposeful life in the prosperous and peaceful part of Egypt. (Goshen).
He put forward Praise to get him there.
Judah (Praise-GOD) is your key to consecutive victory in all your purposeful assignments in life.
Israel was ready to go to war Judah was put first to lead the way. “All that were numbered in the camp of Judah… These shall first set forth.” Numbers 2:9 (KJV)
Again we see Praise at work in giving Victory to the children of Israel in another war “As soon as they started shouting and praising, GOD set ambushes against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir as they were attacking Judah, and they all ended up dead. The Ammonites and Moabites mistakenly attacked those from Mount Seir and massacred them. Then, further confused, they went at each other, and all ended up killed.” 2 Chronicles 20:22-23 (MSG).
As you seek direction and victory in your life’s assignment, let Praise lead the way, and surely your success is guaranteed.
Your enemies will be confused and destroyed as in the scriptures above when you engage in Praise as they did.
Remember again when they needed the wall of Jericho to come down, they shouted praise, and the wall came down (Joshua 6:20).
In Acts 16 Paul and Silas were thrown into jail. They sang their praises to God HE responded, and they were set free (Acts 16:25-40).
Praise your way to continuous direction and Victory
