Betrayed By Brothers.

Betrayed By Brothers.
“Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.” Gen. 37:27. (KJV).
Joseph was sold to the Ishmaelites by his brothers.
How terrible can people be?
Do brothers and friends sometimes betray you?
Do you get the guilt for something they did?
Sometimes they promise something:
Then they renege on it.
You feel you have been “dropped.”
Do you realize that God allowed the brothers of Joseph to do that terrible thing for a purpose?
Joseph had to be second in charge in Egypt to save many lives.
Many people would have starved of hunger if it were not for Joseph.
Sometimes certain things must happen to push you to your destiny.
It does not always line up as you expect.
When it happens.
“The LORD was with Joseph and he prospered,”
Trust God to guide you through.
God is with you in these situations too.
Application to the Christian life:
Trust God to guide you through life.
Do not get despondent under challenging times.
Keep on following Jesus.
He leads the way.
