Just as He Said.

Just as He Said.
“He isn’t here—he has risen victoriously, just as he said! Come inside the tomb and see the place where our Lord was lying.” Matthew 28:6 (TPT)
From the beginning of creation, everything happened just as He said.
God said, “let there be,” in Genesis 1, and it has been so till today.
God has taught us in so many ways in the scriptures that we have to say what we believe in our hearts, and we will see it come to pass.
JUST AS HE SAID.
What are you saying today about your destiny?
Jesus spoke what His purpose in life was about, and at every point, He confessed what the Father has said about Him.
It all happened as HE said it would.
Say words that are in line with your purpose in life.
No matter the challenges you are facing say only His words that line up with your life.
Never speak negatively about your purpose in life.
Make positive confessions at all times.
Remember the Shunammite woman? (2 Kings 4)
She experienced the resurrection of her son.
Jesus Himself said positive words about dead Lazarus; he came back to life.
Whatever appeared dead in your situation speak life to it in Jesus name.
The path to the cross was filled with purposeful challenges, and at each point, Jesus spoke what was required.
He told Satan that man shall not live by bread alone but by the word of God.
He emphasized and encouraged us to speak to our destiny.
No matter the area of your life look for the word of God and speak it over the situation.
In healing say by His stripes, you are healed. He wishes above all that you are healthy and prosperous, that’s what you should always say to yourself.

Is Your God the True God?

Is Your God the True God?
“Fearing for their lives, the desperate sailors shouted to their gods for help and threw the cargo overboard to lighten the ship. But all this time Jonah was sound asleep down in the hold. So the captain went down after him. “How can you sleep at a time like this?” he shouted. “Get up and pray to your god! Maybe he will pay attention to us and spare our lives.”Jonah 1:5-6 New Living (NLT)

The challenge with Jonah in this story is that he had God – the True God, but he was not in a right relationship with Him at this moment of crisis.
Today as you are reading this devotional, I want to ask:
Are you at the right place God has asked you to be?
Are you doing the right thing at the right time?
Do you have a genuine relationship with God?
Will you have to tell them stories like Jonah had to do?
Are you in such a relationship with God that you could be like the Lord Jesus Christ and ask the storms to cease immediately, or like Paul in that ship and you could confidently say there will be no loss of life?
Some people have a relationship with God when they wake up in the morning and pray. But as they get into their cars, trains, and buses, they begin to take instructions from the God of the traffic, weather, and the subway system. When they get to their offices the identity of God, they started the day with has faded and they tune in to the God of the office. Their God varies with the different situations they are in for the day.
Jesus Christ said my Father and I are one.
Therefore anywhere, any situation they called upon Him He could link them up with God instantly.
The same with Joseph, Daniel, Peter, and Paul- they provided solutions to the immediate crises around them.
If you are called upon this moment to help out, can you indeed call on God?
Is your God the true God?

Call upon your God!

Call upon your God!
“Then the mariners were afraid, and each man cried to his god, and they cast the goods that were in the ship into the sea to lighten it for them. But Jonah had gone down into the inner part of the ship and had lain down and was fast asleep. So the captain came and said to him, What do you mean you sleeper? Arise, call upon your God! Perhaps your God will give a thought to us so that we shall not perish.” Jonah 1:5-6 (AMPC)
Great winds amidst mighty tempest confronted the ship on its way to Tarshish that necessitated everybody to call upon their god to save the situation, but to no avail. Jonah, however, was fast asleep in this crisis and they had to wake him up to also call upon his God.
Today we are in different situations that demand that we should call upon our God to help.
People don’t know which one will work.
Some Financial experts are calling on psychics or spiritualists to get directions.
In this world’s ship that we all are traveling in when they finally get to you like they got to Jonah, which God are you going to call upon?
Some marriages are not working and people are looking at which one is working, can your home be a model to them?
That is can they call on your God to help them?
Is your office- ship drifting? Colleagues at work are looking up to you for breakthrough possibly in sales, marketing, research, and development.
Do you have what it takes to rescue them?
Friends at school and other club members are desperately searching around you for a solution that works, can they call upon your God?
In other words, is your life a reflection of His works or are you also like Jonah in a state of slumber?
Are you sleeping?
Do you have the solution to the challenges around you?
Can you call upon your God?

Double Standards

Double Standards
“Jesus replied, “I worked on the Sabbath by healing a man, and you were surprised. But you work on the Sabbath, too, whenever you obey Moses’ law of circumcision (actually, however, this tradition of circumcision is older than the Mosaic law); for if the correct time for circumcising your children falls on the Sabbath, you go ahead and do it, as you should. So why should I be condemned for making a man completely well on the Sabbath?” John 7:21-23 (TLB)
Are you engaged in double standards like the Pharisees?
Are you condemning but on the other hand justifying yourself for your actions?
It was okay for them to break the law by performing circumcision on the Sabbath, but it was not good for Jesus to heal.
You can identify the lousy dressing in that sister but are all the clothes in your wardrobe compliant with the Holy Spirits guidelines?
You know all the faults in that brother about why he can’t be a good husband to that sister, are you faithful in your marriage?
At your workplace, you know all the wrong workers, and if an X-ray is done on your output, will it pass the productivity test?
You know the stingy couple that doesn’t give, are you complete in your giving as God directs you?
Jesus solution was to focus on the purpose for which God had sent Him by healing the sick man.
Your focus today is to do what God has assigned you to do.
Don’t be a hypocrite or join the club of the naysayers.
Determine today to be like your Savior, who went about doing good.
“Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with great power. He did wonderful things for others and divinely healed all who were under the tyranny of the devil,[a for God had anointed him.”              Acts 10:38(TPT)
Examine yourself that you have first healed yourself of what you are about to point out and correct in another person.
Don’t be a hypocrite.                                                  Don’t use double standards.

They said among themselves

 They said among themselves

“And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the fire and felt no harm. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” Acts 28:4-6 (KJV)
What are people saying about you because of what they see happening to you right now?
People who don’t know your relationship with God will say and continue to say things about you based only on what they can see.
Look again at the circumstances Apostle Paul was initially going through in the above scriptures.
Momentarily he became the subject and focus of their “jist.”
However, God that always works ALL things together for good to them that love Him turned the situation around to His Glory.
What are the challenges of life today that is making people look at you with contempt, disdain, and even wonder whether you truly know God as you claim?
Just as Paul shook off that viper and it died without any single harm to Paul so also you will overcome this situation you are in right now.
Paul was so sure of His Destiny and destination that he paid them no attention but continued with what he had to do, and God gave him the victory.
Focus on your purpose in life and please ignore what people may be saying about you based on what they can see.
God is on your side, and You have emerged victorious in Jesus Name.
