A hasty promise to do something good or bad

A hasty promise to do something good or bad.
“You are guilty the moment you realize that you have made a hasty promise to do something good or bad. As soon as you discover that you have committed any of these sins, you must confess what you have done.” Leviticus 5:4-5 (CEV)
Take time to think through the words you want to say.
Don’t babble.
Don’t speak with thoughtlessness.
More so, in this age of social media, don’t spread information you have not verified.
Those who are hasty regret their actions.
They wished they had been more patient.
“Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him” (Proverbs 29:20 NKJV).
Herod Antipas regretted making a declaration to grant any request made by his stepdaughter.
He became the killer of John the Baptist through hasty words.
(Mark 6:14-29)
Jephthah’s rash vow was binding on him (Judges 11:30-31, 34-35).
Joshua, too was deceived by the Gibeonites through hasty decisions.
(Joshua 9:16-18)
Don’t be hasty to send a text message – think first and read through well.
Don’t be hasty to sign that contract paper or that agreement:
Read through, pray; make necessary consultations.
“People lose their way without wise leadership, but a nation succeeds and stands in victory when it has many good counselors to guide it.”
Proverbs 11:14 (TPT)
Be careful of instant deals that you have to pay now as it is.
Remember, buyers’ remorse.
Be quick to listen but slow to speak.
Be slow to become angry. (James 1:19)
Don’t fall into scams of becoming rich overnight.
“Brilliant ideas pay off and bring you prosperity, but making hasty, impatient decisions will only lead to financial loss.” Proverbs 21:5(TPT)
As you daily put your Trust in God, watch out for hasty decisions.
Those who trust in him will not act in haste (Isaiah 28:16)

Comfort, comfort my people.

Comfort, comfort my people.
“Your God says to you: “Comfort, comfort my people with gentle, compassionate words. Speak tenderly from the heart to revive those in Jerusalem, and proclaim that their warfare is over.[ Her debt of sin is paid for, and she will not be treated as guilty. Prophesy to her that she has received from the hand of Yahweh twice as many blessings as all her sins. “Isaiah 40:1-2 (TPT)
God is saying to you today, be comforted.
Your heart has been troubled with so many unbelievable events.
You have wondered where God is in all these?
Why would a righteous God allow so many injustices to be carried out, especially against the innocent and defenseless people?
Your God says to Comfort, Comfort, my people.
Our God has said: “Encourage my people! Give them Comfort.
“Comfort, yes, comfort my people,” says your God.
Very shortly:
“Every valley will be raised up, every mountain brought low. The rugged terrain will become level ground and, the rough places a plain.”
Isaiah 40:4 (TPT)
“Some of those present informed Jesus that Pilate had slaughtered some Galilean Jews… Jesus turned and asked the crowd, “Do you believe that the slaughtered Galileans were the worst sinners of all the Galileans? No, they weren’t! So listen to me. Unless you all repent, you will perish as they did. Or what about the eighteen who perished when the tower of Siloam fell upon them? Do you really think that they were more guilty than all of the others in Jerusalem? No, they weren’t. But unless you repent, you will all eternally perish, just as they did.” Luke 13:1-5 (TPT)
The Challenge here is that if anything should happen to you now?
Will you make it to heaven?
One day all these inequalities will be removed.
Sin that has caused many interruptions into the orderliness that God has purposed will be eventually be removed.
Where will you be on that day?
Be Encouraged that Jehovah has the last say on so many issues that are baffling us.
It is always better and safer to be on the Lord’s side here and then.
That is the only guaranteed win-win.
Paul said whether he is alive or dead, he is with Christ (Philippians 1:21)
The injustices you are witnessing and possibly experiencing has an expiry date.
However, you and God do not.
Eternity is real.
Whose side will you be

You’re the troublemaker —, not me!

You’re the troublemaker —, not me!
” … Ahab went to meet Elijah,  and when he saw him, Ahab shouted, “There you are, the biggest troublemaker in Israel!” Elijah answered: You’re the troublemaker —,, not me! You and your family have disobeyed the Lord’s commands by worshiping Baal. Call together everyone from Israel and have them meet me on Mount Carmel. Be sure to bring along the four hundred fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah who eat at Jezebel’s table.  Ahab got everyone together, then they went to meet Elijah on Mount Carmel.  Elijah stood in front of them and said, “How much longer will you try to have things both ways? If the Lord is God, worship him! But if Baal is God, worship him!” The people did not say a word.” 1 Kings 18:16-21 (CEV)
Ahab, the tyrant ruler, falsely accused Elijah God’s man as the one that troubled Israel.
Rulers and leaders today, like Ahab, still falsely accuse others.
However, Elijah was bold and courageous enough to correct the illusion the king had.
Are you wrongly accused?
Do you have the power with God to correct the narrative?

Elijah did not only stop there; he challenged the whole nation to quit double speaking.
“How much longer will you try to have things both ways? If the Lord is God, worship him!”
Are people in your area of influence confused about who is the true God?
Are you positioned like Elijah today to challenge your place of dominance to embrace God totally?
At the National level, can God depend on you to manifest His power through you?
Elijah had what it takes to bring God’s will to pass.
Check your personal relationship with God and align yourself with His purpose.
It’s not about the verbal exchange of words.
It’s about being seated in the heavenly to reign and rule with Christ. (Ephesians 1:21-23)
Don’t just speak rhetoric.
Greater than Elijah is in you to bring God’s counsel to pass in your area of dominion
You have Christ Jesus living in you to empower you.

Joseph was a good and honest man.

“There was a man named Joseph, who was from Arimathea in Judea. Joseph was a good and honest man, and he was eager for God’s kingdom to come… Joseph went to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body. He took the body down from the cross and wrapped it in fine cloth. Then he put it in a tomb that had been cut out of solid rock and had never been used.”
Luke‬ 23:50-53 CEV‬‬‬‬‬‬
Are you positioned where God can rely on you to execute His agenda?
Joseph of Arimathea was strategically placed and blessed by God to be used for His Glory.
His foundation was a dependable character that God could lean on.
He was a good, honest, and expectant man.
As he was being blessed, he listened to God for what he should invest his money on.
He bought for himself at the right time a Tomb befitting for God to use.
How do you spend the money God blesses you with.
Do you invest in what God can use to be a blessing to others?
Abraham was rich, and he knew his blessings were to be a blessing to others.
The covenant of being blessed by God centers on you being able to bless others.
Don’t become a hoarder.
Give, and it shall be given back to you in multiple folds.
God gave the children of Israel gold and precious ornaments because HE knew ahead that out of it, the Tabernacle would be built.
Guess what some of them used it to build the golden calf and rebelled against God.
Whatever blessings are coming your way today, hear from God on how to use it.
When the strategic opportunity and time comes:
God can use you and what He has placed in your hands.

I will go with you and give you peace

I will go with you and give you peace
“The Lord said, “I will go with you and give you peace.”
Exodus‬ 33:14‬ CEV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
God gave Moses this assurance while leading them to the promised land.
His Peace is with you in the purposeful life HE has given you.
The challenge with the children of Israel was that they kept looking at the problem.
As long as they focused on the problem:
Peace eluded them.
Complaints and temptations followed.
Are you complaining today because you are looking at the problem and not His promise?
“And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.” Genesis 41:16(CEV)
He was troubled and lacked understanding of the dreams he had.
Peace and understanding came to him from God through Joseph.
God’s Word today has the insight and revelation solutions to what you are facing.
Don’t be confused.
Don’t be disturbed
Don’t be perplexed.

“I leave the gift of Peace with you—my Peace. Not the kind of fragile Peace given by the world, but my perfect Peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” John 14:27(TPT)
Whatsoever the facts of what you are going through.
Please check the promises of God concerning what HE has told you.
” Perfect, absolute Peace surrounds those whose imaginations are consumed with you;  they confidently trust in you. Yes, trust in the Lord Yahweh forever and ever! For Yah, the Lord God is your Rock of Ages!  He knocks down the high and mighty, and the lofty city he humbles and levels down to the dust,” Isaiah 26:3-5 (TPT)
Yes.
Perfect absolute Peace is yours in Jesus Christ.
HE is still calming the raging storms.
Peace be still. (Mark4:39)
