A good chance to betray Jesus when the crowds were not around ?.
“Judas went to talk with the chief priests and the officers of the temple police about how he could help them arrest Jesus. They were very pleased and offered to pay Judas some money. He agreed and started looking for a good chance to betray Jesus when the crowds were not around.” Luke 22; 4-6(CEV)
What do you like doing when crowds are not around?
Why do you like to see the Boss when other workers are not around?
Why do you like to talk with that Sister when the husband is not around?
Why do you want to tell the Pastor about your problems when his wife is not there?
With his betrayal objective, Judas felt more comfortable doing it when the crowds were not there.
Beyond avoiding the crowds, what else do you do secretly in your heart?
“Without this revelation-light, how would I ever detect the waywardness of my heart? Lord, forgive my hidden flaws whenever you find them. Keep cleansing me, God, and keep me from my secret, selfish sins; may they never rule over me! For only then will I be free from fault and remain innocent of rebellion.”
Psalm 19:12-14 (TPT)
David knew the consequences of secret selfish sins.
Like the repentant, David Pray, and don’t allow your secret sin to rule over you.
Allow the Light of the Word of God to check your inner-heart.
Whether the crowds are not there or when alone with your raging thoughts. (Philippians 4:8)
You have the Grace to overcome the temptations to betray Jesus Christ.

You treat everyone with the same respect, no matter who they are.
“The spies said to him, “Teacher, we know that you teach the Truth about what God wants people to do. And you treat everyone with the same respect, no matter who they are.” Luke 20:21 (CEV)
How do you treat people?
Even the spies sent to find fault with Jesus Christ attested that He teaches the Truth and treats everyone with the same respect.
Do You?
Do you have a different standard for the rich and the poor?
“Suppose an influential man comes into your worship meeting wearing gold rings and expensive clothing, and also a homeless man in shabby clothes comes in. If you show special attention to the rich man in expensive clothes and say, “Here’s a seat of honor for you right up front!” but you turn and say to the poor beggar dressed in rags, “You can stand over here,” or “Sit over there on the floor in the back, then you’ve demonstrated gross prejudice among yourselves and used evil standards of judgment!” James 2:2-4 (TPT)
As you relate with people, please emulate our Lord and Savior.
Teach the Truth.
Live by the Truth.
Walk the Talk.
Don’t play favorites.
Be right in what you say and teach.

Are you trying to fool someone?
“The Lord replied, “Are you trying to fool someone? Won’t anyone of you untie your ox or donkey and lead it out to drink on a Sabbath?” “This woman belongs to the family of Abraham, but Satan has kept her bound for 18 years. Isn’t it right to set her free on the Sabbath?”
Luke 13:15-16 CEV
Are you trying to fool someone?
Are you playing someone?
Are you fraudulent?
Jesus rebuked the deceivers who were doing double standards.
The religious leaders told people that they had influence and control over to do something different from their personal practice.
What is going on in your personal relationship with God?
I mean, who are you on one on one with God?
When Brethren ask you for advice, what type of counsel do you give?
Be always sincere and truthful.
Don’t make things more difficult for those coming after you.
Some people literally remove the ladder they have used to climb up. Making it difficult for others to grow but virtually impossible for another leader to emerge.
Just as the Lord saw through the Hypocrisy of those leaders.
He sees yours too.
What you sow, you will also reap.
Be consistently fair to others.
The measure you judge so shall it be measured back unto you.
” For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others. The measurement you use on them will be used on you.”
Matthew 7:2(TPT)
Don’t be a hypocrite.

HE alone determines where favor rests.
“This I know: the favor that brings promotion and power
doesn’t come from anywhere on earth, for no one exalts a person but God, the true judge of all. He alone determines where favor rests. He anoints one for greatness and brings another down to his knees.”
Psalm 75:6-7(TPT)
Where are you looking for your promotion.?
Are you doing whatsoever you can to please the powers that be?
Are you really playing the ball?
You pleasing everybody in the system?
God Rules.
Put your Trust in God.
Any hope based on man eventually fails.
Only God can bring to pass your true desires.
Stop sucking it up to everybody with the hope of being promoted.
David did everything he could humanly do to please Saul.
Joseph was more than diligent in Potiphar’s house.
Daniel excelled in service to all the kings he served.
All of them never put their trust in human beings to get promoted…
God alone is the Glory and lifter up of your head.
“But you are my shield, and you give me victory and great honor.”
Psalm 3:3 (CEV)
Be diligent.
Mordecai was dedicated to his job, and he put his trust in God.
Haman could not remove or kill him because he was fixated on God.
Where are you looking up to for your breakthrough?
Look up to Jesus Christ, who is the A-Z of whatever you are doing for God.
Yes, Only Him is the author and finisher of your faith. ( Hebrews 12:2)

Do not desire to possess anything that belongs to another person.
“Do not desire to possess anything that belongs to another person—not a house, a wife, a husband, a slave, an ox, a donkey, or anything else.”
Exodus 20:17 (CEVDCI)
One of the most significant challenges of the world we live in today is people not been contented with what God has given them.
Most people want what belongs to someone else.
Watch little children when they are given different toys.
Very shortly, they want the same toy the next child has.
The same warning God gave Israel’s children soon after He freed them from slavery is still applicable to us today.
Those laws were to guide them into true freedom and make them possess their promised land.
You want to stay free from bondage and oppression?
“Never desire to take your neighbor’s household away from him. “Never desire to take your neighbor’s wife, his male or female slave, his ox, his donkey, or anything else that belongs to him.”
Exodus 20:17(GW)
You may ask Pastor, why are you old school today?
Talking about Moses’s law today in this global modern age of civilization and advancement in technology?
Let me remind you:
“Don’t ever think that I came to set aside Moses’ Teachings or the Prophets. I didn’t come to set them aside but to make them come true.
Matthew 5:17(GW)
In Christ Jesus, you have the Grace to live above sin and reproach.
Be Content with what God has given you.
(Hebrews 13:5)
Yes, your destiny comes custom made,
Specially designed and packaged only for you.
Stay on your own lane.
Remain focused on the assignment HE has given you.
Sometimes people buy things not because they need it.
They buy them because they see it with others.
Remain focused and faithful to only what He has given you.
That is where your abundance of Blessings will be fully manifested.
The pasture is not necessarily greener on the other side.
Tend to yours the way it should be, and you don’t need to live out a fallacy before discovering the bitter truth.
The grass is greenest, where it is watered.
