Jesus is the Sweetest Name I know.

Jesus is the Sweetest Name I know.

“Jesus is the Sweetest Name I know,
And He’s just the same as His lovely Name,
That’s the reason why that I love Him so;
For Jesus is the Sweetest Name I know.
(Yes, he is)
I love Him, I love Him,
Because he first loves me,
And he purchased my salvation,
On calvary’s tree.”
(Song by Jimmy Swaggart)

Is the Name of Jesus still so sweet to you?

Do you still feel that aura of Love and closeness when you call that Name?
Has it become so common that the mention of the Name is now ordinary?
We have been bombarded with a lot of information and misinformation.
It has affected our passionate response and the meaning of the Name.
Today I ask you sincerely in your heart of heart.
When you hear the Name Jesus what does it convey to you?
How do you treat that Name?
How do you use that Name?
How do you say that Name?
How do you share that Name?

“I long to drink of you, O God, to drink deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! My soul thirsts, pants, and longs for the living God. I want to come and see the face of God.” Psalm 42:1-2(TPT)
David sustained a continuous moment by moment relationship with God.
That should be our passion and heartbeat towards our Savior too.
To many spouses in Love, the Name of one another kicks off a lot in each other.
Either by phone call, text, or email, it gets special attention.
When you are around them, you will quickly know who wants their attention.
Watch their reaction when someone mentions that he saw or spoke with either.
You will know that they are definitely in Love with each other.
Again, how is the Name of Jesus to you today?
When HE wants to talk to you, does HE get your attention?
Do you seek that intimate moment with Him too?
Don’t let that Name become just a routine.
Like the world’s major currencies, they deliver their worth in the transaction you engage them with.
“The Name of Jesus is higher than all names
Just name a sickness, or any problem
At the mention of that Name they bow they fall
The Name of Jesus is higher than them all” {David Ingles}
How are you using that excellent Name of Jesus?
Is it still the sweetest Name to you?

The man who trusts in man…The man who trusts in the Lord,

The man who trusts in man…The man who trusts in the Lord,

“Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:5-8(NKJV)

The difference is quite clear.

Your Trust is in man or in the Lord God Almighty.

When your Trust is in man, you take your focus off God.

You do things based on your connections.

There is no guarantee that man delivers on his promise.

They tell you “circumstances beyond their control” happened.

The arm of the flesh indeed fails. (1 Samuel 2:9)

However, when your Trust in the Lord

His Promises based on His Word never fails.

You experience the Peace of God regardless of the challenges.

You receive divine wisdom and instructions daily as you ask Him.

You are not moved or confused by what people say.

How are you handling that situation today?

Take a moment to check yourself out.

Trusting in man or Trusting in the Lord ?.

I will show you a mountain…

I will show you a mountain…
“Some years later, God decided to test Abraham, so he spoke to him. Abraham answered, “Here I am, LORD.” The LORD said, “Go get Isaac, your only son, the one you dearly love! Take him to the land of Moriah, and I will show you a mountain where you must sacrifice him to me on the fires of an altar.” So Abraham got up early the next morning and chopped wood for the fire. He put a saddle on his donkey and left with Isaac and two servants for the place where God had told him to go.” Genesis 22:1-3(CEV)
God guides specifically.
When God told Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac as a form of test, he was specific.
We must learn daily to hear instructions from God.
Even though God told him to go to the Land of Moriah, there was a specific mountain.
In the land of Moriah, there were different mountains.
The specific one was the one that had the substitute ram already caught.
Imagine Abraham settling down on any mountain he liked.
Have you considered that he did not choose the convenient mountain?
Neither was it recorded that he chose the nearest one.
We must constantly learn to hear God and receive Grace to carry out the specific.
God first told Moses to strike the rock.
“Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb, and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, and the people will drink.” And Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel.” (Exodus 17:6 ESV)
Later on in His wisdom, he told him the second time to speak to the rock.
“Take the staff, and assemble the congregation, you and Aaron your brother, and tell the rock before their eyes to yield its water. So you shall bring water out of the rock for them and give drink to the congregation and their cattle.” Numbers 20:8 (ESV)
Mosses got it wrong the second time.
Instead of speaking, he struck the rock( Numbers 20:9-12.
Are you where God told you to be?
When you offer your sacrifice where your friends can see and hail you, your miraculous provisions may be pretty challenging.
Are you doing what God has told you to do?
Are you too familiar with God or allow the people’s provocation to make you do the wrong thing?
There is no shortcut with God.
Learn to hear and do what HE specifically directed.
Abraham went to the place God told him to go.
Again ask your self are you really where God has told you to be?

But when everyone was asleep

But when everyone was asleep,
“But when everyone was asleep, an enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat and ran away. When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, the weeds also appeared. So the farmer’s hired hands came to him and said, ‘Sir, wasn’t that good seed that you sowed in the field? Where did all these weeds come from?’ “He answered, ‘This has to be the work of an enemy!’ “They replied, ‘Do you want us to go and gather up all the weeds?’ “‘No,’ he said. ‘If you pull out the weeds, you might uproot the wheat at the same time. Let them both grow together until the harvest. At that time, I’ll tell my harvesters to gather the weeds first and tie them all in bundles to be burned. Then they will harvest the wheat and put it into my barn.'” Matthew 13:25-30(TPT)

But when everyone was asleep.

But while everyone was sleeping
But while he was sleeping
But while people were asleep
But while men slept
It ranges from “everyone” to the specific “men.”
It shows that the enemy of our soul has always been strategic, deceptive, and cunningly wise.
However, ranging from the church to the specific member, the general tendency is to always react.
In Matthew chapter 13, there are seven parables, and all of them are pretty insightful.
Some are for the multitudes.
Many more are for the disciples.
The question today is, are you reacting to a situation like a farmer’s hired hand?
Do you have an understanding like the real farmer?
What is happening around you now?
As an induvial, as a nation, and to the entire world.
Parables contain hidden things that need spiritual understanding.
Don’t just keep reacting to situations.
Find out from God first what is going on?
Receive understanding.
Have the knowledge of God’s word.
Gain wisdom.
Gain understanding,
Make the right choices.
Draw closer to God.
“The fountain of life flows from you to satisfy me. In your light of holiness, we receive the light of revelation.” Psalm 36:9(TPT)
Let the light of God guide you.

JUST AS HE SAID

Just as He Said.

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said! Come, see the place where He lay.” Matthew 28:6(NIV)

Right from creation, everything happened, just as He said.

God said let there be in Genesis 1, and it has been so till today.

God has taught us in so many ways in the scriptures that we have to say what we believe in our hearts, and we see it come to pass.

It’s significant to remember in this season of celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus that this Resurrection happened :

JUST AS HE SAID.

What are you saying today, Especially about your destiny?

Jesus spoke what His purpose in life was about, and at every point, He confessed what the father has said about Him.

Again the great takeaway from the just-concluded Easter season is:

It all happened as HE said it would.

Say words that are in line with your purpose in life.

No matter the challenges you are facing, say only His words that line up with your life.

Never speak negatively about your purpose in life.

Make positive confessions at all times.

Remember the Shunammite woman? (2Kings 4)

She experienced the Resurrection of her son.

Jesus Himself said positive words about the dead Lazarus.

He was brought back to life.

Whatever appeared dead in your situation speak life to it in Jesus’s name.

The path to the cross was filled with purposeful challenges.

At each point, Jesus spoke precisely what was required.

During the temptation, He told satan that man shall not live by bread alone but by the word of God.

He emphasized and encouraged us to speak to our destiny.

No matter the area of your life, look for the word of God and say it over the situation.

In healing, say By His stripes, you are healed.

He wishes above all that you are healthy and prosperous.

That’s what you should always say to yourself.
