In Christianity we have always used the phrase of waiting on God to mean knowing God’s truth on any issue we need clarification on.
The truth is God has all day been waiting on us to know Him more and walk within the purpose of our lives.
We sometimes struggle with impatience because we want to act right now.
We are used to reacting to issues based on our five senses.
Knowing the truth about any matter requires a consistent relationship with God not just on what we cannot immediately figure out but walking and working with Him in all that we do.
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”Ephesians 3:20
From the above scripture there is a clear responsibility from us to ask or think before He will do more.
You must use your imagination to shape your desires on the subject matter.
Think it true thoroughly. Like Abraham see the abundance beyond the stars.
It’s not like lottery where you can scramble any number and expect to win. Relationship with God is not guesswork.
So if you don’t ask or think and you go to Him blank that means you get zero.
Don’t come to God without searching the scriptures that surrounds what you are asking Him to direct you on. Relationship built on His Word is the most secured guaranteed guidance you can get on any issue.
That’s why truly it’s those that wait upon the Lord with relevant scriptures that guide their asking or thinking that gets assured guidance, renew their strength, mount up,soar high above those challenges and emerge victorious.
Yes you are waiting on God but how?

Amongst outstanding stories in the Bible are the stories about the Shepherds heralding the news about the birth of the savior. Christmas story always involves the shepherds and their encounter with the angels. They went immediately Proclaiming the Good News they just heard.
There are many stories about lepers in the Bible but one of the outstanding ones are those lepers locked outside the city gate of Samaria during the siege which led to serious famine.
Unlike the shepherds who saw the spectacular in form of the angelic appearance the lepers were compelled by their circumstances of starvation to explore.
Both groups experienced the Good News which they could not keep to themselves and made the Proclamations which brought joy and turnaround to people.
Whatever way we have gotten to know the Good News of the Kingdom of God we must share it with others so they can be made better.
Don’t shut your mouth. Make the Proclamation that you know.
Whether your testimony is like that of the shepherds or you went through a process of self discovery like the lepers open your mouth and share the Good News to mankind by your life.
God reveals Himself to us in diverse manners. Once you know the truth live it out and share it.
Many may have never read the Bible before meeting you. You are the written Bible that those who encounter you will see and come to a decision.
Whatever your experience has been between the shepherds and the lepers please Proclaim the Good news.

“When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”
Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.” Matthew 8:5-10.
The centurion approached Jesus to come and heal his servanthowever in his prayer to Jesus he knew he had a part to do.
He had meditated and clearly thought out what God will do and what he will do. Unfortunately many of us approach God with the mindset that God will do 100% of our request once we ask him. That’s not God’s way. God expect you to do your own part of the deal too. Here the centurion needed to confess and act out his faith by opening his mouth to declare what he believed. Many of us don’t even figure out or think through our request to God. As we saw Jesus was willing to come to his house to heal his servant but his practical faith at work declared that the servant will be healed once Jesus spoke the word.
How are you approaching God for answers to your request?
God created us in His image and expects us to do our part in exercising dominion here on earth.
Today set time aside to think and properly hear from God what you need to bring Solutions to that challenge you are facing.
HE is always willing but do you know the right things to say and to do in getting your answers ?
Don’t just leave everything in God’s hand you have a part to do as well.

” Then Moses made Israel set out from the Red Sea, and they went into the wilderness of Shur. They went three days in the wilderness and found no water. When they came to Marah, they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter; therefore it was named Marah.[a] And the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a log,[b] and he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet.
There the Lord[c] made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them,” Ex 15:23-25
We all get to experience some bitter situations in our lives. But we must not stop there. That bitter experience will not be forever. It will soon turn to sweetness.
The butterfly moth has to struggle and break out for it to become that beautiful butterfly that we love to see.
Your life journey is designed to let you experience some bitter phases. God in His wisdom allows such to bring the sweetness out so that you can always appreciate Him more.
Like the Israelites experience in the verses above it was a test to make them trust Him. In their dependence on Him they found the solution to change the situation. When you too trust God in this bitterness you passing through He will show you the way to sweetness.
Whatever challenge you passing through God has the solution.
Find time to hear Him and obey Him.
He will turn that bitter situation to sweetness.
