Abiding In Christ

Abiding in Christ.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word, which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” (John 15:1-4) KJV

Do you know what it means to abide in Christ?

It means to listen to the heavenly voice, which is calling you to repentance.

It means to be cut to the heart by the Word of God.

It means to have a life of consistent daily submission to God.

What are the advantages of abiding in Christ?

You’ll bring forth much fruit in your life.

You cannot live without abiding in Christ, that’s death.

What are the dangers of not abiding in Christ?

You will not bring forth any fruit,

You will not advance in your Christian life.

“The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine.”  John 15:3-4 (TPT)

Abiding in Christ is daily living by the Word of God.

Can You?.

Are You?.
