Then they started spreading rumors.
“Caleb calmed down the crowd and said, “Let’s go and take the land. I know we can do it!” But the other men replied, “Those people are much too strong for us.” Then they started spreading rumors and saying, “We won’t be able to grow anything in that soil. And the people are like giants.”
Numbers 13:30-32 (CEV)
Then they started spreading rumors.
They gave the Israelites a bad report.
They spread scary rumors among the People.
The majority report of the spies was negative:
Unbelief in the Word of God leads to spreading evil reports.
“And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel…”
Ten of the spies Mosses sent out to look at the promised land could not believe what God said is true.
They went about their unbelief mission by spreading rumors.
Are you also spreading rumors?
You heard the testimony of what God has done for that other person.
“Unbelievable,” you said?
However, you did not only stop there.
You started making up stories about it.
Focus on the promise of God.
Whatsoever God has said, HE can do.
Take time to build up your faith to possess your possession.
Caleb told the people to calm down.
Allow the Word of God to sink in.
God is able.
Caleb and Joshua entered the promised land.
Believe what God has said concerning your destiny.
“Who has truly believed our revelation? To whom will Yahweh reveal his mighty arm?” Isaiah 53:1(TPT)
Don’t spread rumors.
Don’t trade in evil reports.
