And there was one Anna, a prophetess,

“And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.  And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.” Luke 2:36-38
Ana the Prophetess was one of the divine arrangements by God to usher in the earthly birth of the savior. She believed God that she would see the savior before she departs to heaven and by the confession of her faith and praising God it became a reality.
Ana waited long, in fact very long but God’s promise was fulfilled in her eyes.
Sometimes God’s manifestation on some promises may seem long but be assured whatsoever HE has promised you HE is able to fulfill.
Ana despite her personal challenges never ceased being in the presence of God giving thanks, praying and fasting with others until she saw the fulfillment of what she believed.
What is the issue that appears long in being fulfilled in your life? Don’t give up.
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19
Keep on being in the presences of God, thanking HIM and your prayers will soon become a testimony too.
