Speak; Lord for Your Servant is listening

by | Dec 4, 2017

“And the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, Samuel! Samuel! Then Samuel answered, Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.” 1 Samuel 3:10
The year 2017 is gradually coming to an end and its time to reflect on the achievements or otherwise that you have been able to attain.
However, the challenge with listening to God in this season sometimes come from being overwhelmed with different activities that characterize the year’s end…
To finish 2017 very well and position yourself for a more significant 2018, you must be able to hear God distinctly.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
As you reflect on the outgoing 2017 be sincere enough to distinguish what are the assignments you self-imposed on yourself and which are the ones God ordained and actually lined up for you. It’s time to appraise activities and ventures you went into because you saw others do them and identify which are those actually in line with your destiny and purposeful life.
Today position yourself to be able to say Speak; Lord for Your Servant is listening
