I was commissioned to baptize with water

“And even though I’ve yet to experience him, when I was commissioned to baptize with water God spoke these words to me, ‘One day you will see the Spirit descend and remain upon a man. He will be the One I have sent to baptize with the Holy Spirit” John 1:33 (TPT)

John the Baptist clearly knew what his assignment from God was and clearly kept to that.

Jesus also spoke focus and clarity at all times.

He Knew what his business was and went about it entirely.

“Jesus said to them, “Why would you need to search for me? Didn’t you know that it was necessary for me to be here in my Father’s house, consumed with him?” Luke 2:49 (TPT)

God has given children of His their distinct, unique assignment.

Find out from God what he has called you to be and operate within the gifting’s HE has given you.

Don’t be like that other person, simply be You.

Stay with the words God has spoken to you and HE will show up and reward you based on what he has asked you to do and not what is popular nor what brings in more money.

Apostle Paul said, “I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14 (NKJV)

Know your calling. Use your gifts to the glory of God.

His rewards and blessings will evidently manifest.

What are you called to do?

John knew his and remembered precisely what God told him.

He was able to identify the Messiah just as he was instructed.

Don’t start with God and run after man’s method.

Stay true to your assignment and what God has called you to do will happen.

It happened for John, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Apostles.

God is Faithful.
