Which is Right?

“So tell me this: Why do our fathers worship God here on this nearby mountain, but your people teach that Jerusalem is the place where we must worship. Which is right?” Jesus responded,” John‬ ‭4:20‬ ‭TPT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Today’s modern evangelism is about inviting people to their church.

Hardly are young Christians taught the a.b.c..of witnessing.

They are not even encouraged to give out tracts, give a short personal testimony of how they encountered Jesus Christ and how their lives have turned around after repentance.

It simply invite them to the church and come and meet my Pastor /Bishop/Apostle….

“Wearied by his long journey, he sat on the edge of Jacob’s well. He sent his disciples into the village to buy food, for it was already afternoon. Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink of water.”

The Samaritan woman at the well asked Jesus  “is it about the place of worship ?”

Jesus clarified that salvation is not limited to a particular place.

Salvation is not the monopoly of a particular  “church.”

Don’t cast degrading eyes on someone who doesn’t belong to your church or ministry.

Jesus said to her, “You don’t have to wait any longer, the Anointed One is here speaking with you—I am the One you’re looking for.”  John‬ ‭4:6-8, 26‬ ‭TPT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Introduce seekers to the True and Real person of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and encourage them to have a personal relationship with Him.

Not to your church

Not to your leader.

Thank God for your church and the leadership

Give that new convert the right start by knowing and experiencing a personal relationship with the Savior

Which is right?

It’s not entirely about which place to worship.

“Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I’ll come right in and sit down to supper with you. Conquerors will sit alongside me at the head table, just as I, having conquered, took the place of honor at the side of my Father. That’s my gift to the conquerors!”

Revelation 3:20-21 (MSG)

Let that new convert know who conquered sin with His own Life so they can learn and live victoriously with Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior.
