They that wait upon the Lord

They that wait upon the Lord

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)KJV

When we look at the Apostle Paul, we can see him confident, fearless, and sure of what would happen to everyone aboard the storm-worn ship, because of his intimacy with God. He was convinced that God will faithfully lead him, despite the turbulence on the sea. (Acts 27:23-25)

Therefore, be assured that, once your journey through this life has been patterned by God, it will surely be well with you.

Be thus persuaded, and rest in His word:

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye” (Psalm 32:8).

Perhaps the hard times some of us are going through has made us compromise. Let us retrace our steps: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

God accepts us just as we are.

God accepts us just as we are without one plea, and He is ready to offer solutions to our needs. Sometimes, resting is better than reaching, and trusting is better than trying.

Whatever trial you may be passing through, God will use it for your good.

Remember that every trial is temporary. Thus, view hard times as a discipline, but definitely not as rejection, or condemnation.

Tough times never last, but tough people do.

Are you tough?

Then begin to Praise God for getting you out of the problem.

God is on your side.

Keep trusting Him.
