The day before Saul came (Part 2)
“The day before Saul came, the LORD had told Samuel:  “About this time tomorrow I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin. Appoint him to lead my people Israel. He will save my people from the Philistines. I have seen the suffering of my people, and I have listened to their cry.” When Samuel first saw Saul, the LORD said to Samuel, “This is the man I told you about. He will organize my people.” Saul approached Samuel at the gate and said, “Please tell me where the seer’s house is.” 1 Samuel 9:15-18 (NCV)
The day before Saul came to meet Samuel, he by divine providence had a servant with him.
This servant was used by God to persuade him not to return to his father without an accomplishment.
This nameless servant with God’s favor willingly surrendered the money he had to enable Saul to meet with destiny.
Remember the servant that was with Naaman that enabled the miraculous healings to take place by encouraging the master to seek the Prophet Elisha for solutions. (2 Kings 5:3-14)
Whose wise counsel has God placed near you but wrapped like a servant?
Once upon a time, even the donkey spoke to warn the master. (Numbers 22:28)
“People lose their way without wise leadership, but a nation succeeds and stands in victory when it has many good counselors to guide it.” Proverbs 11:14 (TPT)
Don’t neglect or treat with disdain the Godly counsel God has strategically positioned your way.
