Resist revenge
 “Resist revenge, and make sure that no one pays back evil in place of evil but always pursue doing what is beautiful to one another and to all the unbelievers. Let joy be your continual feast. Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus” 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18 (TPT)
Resist Revenge?
But Revenge is Sweet!
“Sweet revenge” is not Biblical.
David did not kill Saul (1Samuel24)
He ultimately got to the throne, celebrated not through manipulation.
 “Don’t be hateful to people, just because they are hateful to you…”
“See to it that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone…”
“See that none of you repays another with evil for evil..” 
God is saying to you today no matter the evil done to you, don’t pay it back yourself.
Let God Avenge you of whatever wrongdoing against you.
 “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for [God’s] wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay (requite), says the Lord.” Romans 12:19 (AMPC)
“Vengeance is Mine, and recompense, in the time when their foot shall slide; for the day of their disaster is at hand and their doom comes speedily.” Deuteronomy 32:35 (AMPC)
Don’t plot revenge by yourself.
God alone sees all. 
He has the total and complete picture and will undoubtedly get real justice for you.
Forgive your offenders and let God handle the situation. 
“For we know Him Who said, Vengeance is Mine [retribution and the meting out of full justice rest with Me]; I will repay [I will exact the compensation], says the Lord. And again, The Lord will judge and determine and solve and settle the cause and the cases of His people.” Hebrews 10:30(AMPC)
