Perfect Timing

“And as Gehazi was telling the king how [Elisha] had restored the dead to life, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life appealed to the king for her house and land. And Gehazi said, My lord O king, this is the woman, and this is her son whom Elisha brought back to life.
When the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed to her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land even until now”2Kings 8:5-6
It’s good to see the steps of the righteous ordered by the Lord as exemplified by this woman coming into the king’s presence just as her story was been told.
Such is the divine arrangement that those obedient to His voice always enjoy.
The woman had taken the counsel of Elisha earlier to relocate because of the famine that was to visit the land.
By the prompting of God she returned not only to claim her house and land back but with full restoration of all the fruits the land had yielded.
Be encouraged today that as you obey the word of God your footsteps will be ordered right and you will be at the right place at the right time.
Don’t cease in doing good as the scriptures says “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of[a] love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Hebrews 6:10
That woman ministered to Elisha and her blessings were made manifest.
As you obey God, He is setting you up for perfect timing.
