Ordered the wind to stop
“Then he got up, ordered the wind to stop, and said to the sea, “Be still, absolutely still!” The wind stopped blowing, and the sea became very calm. He asked them, “Why are you, such cowards? Don’t you have any faith yet?” Mark 4:39-40 (GW)
Get to the root of your problem First.
Jesus First ordered the wind to stop.
Don’t approach issues superficially.
Don’t just cut off the leaves.
Uproot the roots of the undesired plant.
Jesus addressed the wind that was giving strength to the storms.
Without the wind, the sea will not be disturbing the disciples
Another challenging issue in our text is the Unseen.
The Unseen is more accurate than the seen.
You cannot see the wind.
Yet, it is the driving force behind the sea or storms you can see.
“One day, the leaders of the town of Jericho visited Elisha. “We have a problem, my lord,” they told him. “This town is located in pleasant surroundings, as you can see. But the water is bad, and the land is unproductive.” Elisha said, “Bring me a new bowl with salt in it.” So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said, “This is what the LORD says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.” 2 Kings 2:19-21(NLT)
Elisha first located the source.
He went to the spring.
He administered the treatment right at the origin.
How are you handling your current challenge?
Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit:
Identify the Source.
He will then give you the instructions on what to do.
