Let these men go home

“Let these men go home.”

“Jesus replied, “I told you that I am the one you’re looking for, so if you want me, let these men go home.”John‬ ‭18:8‬ ‭TPT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

You sometimes hear the phrase ”he has to take a fall for the team” or ”he is the fall guy ”

Leaders do sacrifice their team members when dangerous situations occur.

It is not so with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

When the Roman soldiers and the traitor Judas Iscariot came calling he stood up courageously and took responsibility

He said, ”let these men go home.”

Earlier He has stated that a good Shepherd will lay his life down for the sheep. (John 10:11)

Leaders do often play the blame game.

Jesus doesn’t.

Have you been a victim of the blame game recently?

He is standing by you and will soon vindicate You.

Whatsoever HE has promised you He can do.

Hold on to His Word and be assured He will never let you down.

He Will Not Let You Fall – Maranatha! Music lyrics

”I look up to the mountains

To the hills, I turn my eyes

Who will come to help me?

Can I find a place to hide?

The one who made the heavens

And the earth will hear my call

The Lord will come to help me

And He will not let me fall

He will not let you fall

He will not let you fall

He is never weary

And He will not let you fall.”

“He said this to fulfill the prophecy he had spoken, “Father, not one of those you have given me has been lost.” John‬ ‭18:9‬ ‭TPT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

No matter what is going on around you and it appears you have the fall guy or people have deserted you.

Remember He says I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)
