Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119: 11(KJV)
“What’s in your wallet?” is one of the advert phrases of a credit card company marketing the concept that once you have that card, you can purchase anything you want with some advantages over some other brands.
Today the Real question is what’s really in your heart?
Preacher, you just asked me what is my thought life about myself, why are you asking me again what’s is in my heart?
The truth is that the contents of your heart determine the outcome of your thought patterns and subsequent actions of life that you daily decide.
The psalmist knew that the key to having a successful relationship with God and not to sin against Him is ensuring that the word of God is abundantly dominant in His heart.
The Bible says that from your heart comes out the issues of life.
“Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust.” Proverbs 4:23 (Msg)
Thank God for technology that makes it very easy for you to hear the word of God in the most convenient form to you anywhere and anytime.
Resolve to take your fill of the Word each day especially on the God-given assignments that you have.
It’s the Word of God that is available in your heart that will determine how far you are going to God.
Head or mental knowledge of the scriptures is not the same as those that you allow staying in your heart of heart, which comes mainly through meditation and whole focus.
The Word of God in your heart will not only make you live a holy life that is pleasing to God but delivers to you complete and wholesome prosperity.
Make a concrete decision as you embark on this New Year to make the Word of God abundantly available in your heart, which subsequently catapults you into fulfilling your God-given destiny.
Today again please check what’s in your heart?
What are you storing there to make you acquire all your desires in life?
“How can a young person live a clean life? By carefully reading the map of your Word. I’m single-minded in pursuit of you; don’t let me miss the road signs you’ve posted.  I’ve banked your promises in the vault of my heart so I won’t sin myself bankrupt.” Psalm 119:11 (Msg)
The Word of God is the master key to all that you need in life.
