He is there Praying

by | Oct 6, 2017

“Get up and go over to Straight Avenue. Ask at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus. His name is Saul. He’s there praying. He has just had a dream in which he saw a man named Ananias enter the house and lay hands on him so he could see again.” Acts 9:11
What would be your response if God should tell you like HE told Ananias that the most dreaded enemy off the church is praying to Him right now?
Really? Please God are you joking ? or some  would practically tell Him  and questioned Him back I don’t believe it ???
Whatever your response would have been underscore the fact that God is a Merciful God.
HE can not only handle an enemy like Saul of Tarsus but also turn Him to a wonderful brother we now know as Apostle Paul.

Do you have the agape love in your heart to pray for your enemy?

Even when God supernaturally turn around a foe to a friend will you be willing like Ananias to obey God and extend a hand of fellowship?

“To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. ” Roman 12 :20 -21
Heard the story of the young convert who learnt of the above verse and went to cut his neighbor’s lawn and when asked why he did that he replied that he wanted God to pour fire upon his neighbor.
Ananias did not have that attitude so  should we especially when you get the news that  the person is “praying.”

Don’t write anybody of that they can not receive the Grace of God,completely repent  and be converted  like Saul became Paul.

There was a Stephen who was being stoned and graciously still prayed for enemies like Saul and God in His wisdom hearken unto the prayers.
Let us grow in Love and obedience that God can use us like HE found Ananias Responsive, Reliable and Ready.
