For me and thee.

“Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee. “ Matthew 17:27 (KJV)
Jesus made provision for not only His tax but for Peter too.
When the tax collectors came to ask about the payment through Peter he took care of both of them.
Jesus demonstrated that HE was not just raising disciples but HE thinks about them and can meet all the needs of those who follow Him.
Whatever you are going through today that will impact your testimony and His Kingdom HE will provide for you just as HE did with the issue of the tax.
What situation appears in your life that people are inquiring about and you are scratching your head to provide answers for?
Tell it to Jesus He knows what to do.
“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:11 (KJV)
Jesus was there for Peter in all areas of His life when his mother in law was sick Jesus took care of that too.
Jesus left the synagogue and went to Simon’s house. Simon’s mother-in-law was very sick. She had a high fever. They asked Jesus to do something to help her. He stood very close to her and ordered the sickness to go away. The sickness left her, and she got up and began serving them.” Luke 4:38-40
Be reminded again today that as you truly follow the Lord, there is no need or lack in your life that HE will not take care off.
Peter was in a relationship with the Lord.
HE was there for Peter through thick and thin.
As you serve HIM whatever the burden is, cast all care upon Him, HE cares for You.
Don’t allow the enemy to tell you that this “particular ” issue is not so spiritual and you cannot wholly take it to the Lord, or you have to find other solutions to it.
Again take a look at how Jesus related to Peter.
HE was there for him all the way.
Listen diligently and obey Him.
As Jesus told Peter “for me and thee” HE is there for You too.
