Come walk with me

Come walk with me
“Then may your awakening breath blow upon my life until I am fully yours. Breathe upon me with your Spirit wind. Stir up the sweet spice of your life within me. Spare nothing as you make me your fruitful garden. Hold nothing back until I release your fragrance. Come walk with me as you walked with Adam in your paradise garden. Come taste the fruits of your life in me. I have come to you, my darling bride, for you are my paradise garden! Come walk with me until I am fully yours. Come taste the fruits of your life in me.” Song of Songs‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭TPT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
Come walk with me as you walked with Adam in your paradise garden.
This should be the heart cry of every believer to be restored into an authentic relationship with God
Before the fall, Adam enjoyed such unhindered fellowship with God.
Thank God for the victory we have through Christ Jesus to be restored back in true fellowship with the Father
Regardless of the earthly assignment, Jesus had His fellowship with God was the priority
Are you so busy working for God that you have neglected your quiet time?
“So Jesus said, “I speak to you timeless truth. The Son is not able to do anything from himself or through my own initiative. I only do the works that I see the Father doing, for the Son does the same works as his Father.” John‬ ‭5:19‬ TPT‬
God assured Jacob that His presence would be with him and fulfill all the promises made to him.
Genesis 28:15 “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
You desire to see God’s fulfillment in your life, please walk with Him
Are there places where you are currently walking, and God cannot be there with you?
Revelation 21:3, “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.”
Jesus has reconciled us back to God, and you can truly walk with Him.

Then Peter remembered what he had said

Then Peter remembered what he had said

At that moment, Jesus turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered what he had said—“Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny me three times.”  And Peter walked out of the courtyard, crying bitterly.” Luke 22:61-62 (TLB)
Peter remembered.
Do You?
How many times have you been warned of God to desist from what is not pleasing to Him?
When you do remember what action does it provoke in you?
When Peter recalled he wept bitterly, and that led him to true repentance.
Balaam was warned by God not to go and curse Israel.
“ And God said to Balaam, “You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.” Numbers 22:12 However, the greed in his heart did not make him listen
Even when the donkey spoke? (Numbers 22:22-28)
Are you still continuing in that thing that God has warned you not to do?
Do you still rationalize and beat the “donkey” that is speaking to you?
The Prodigal son started eating with the pigs, and he remembered.
“Humiliated, the son finally realized what he was doing, and he thought, ‘There are many workers at my father’s house who have all the food they want with plenty to spare. They lack nothing. Why am I here dying of hunger, feeding these pigs and eating their slop? I want to go back home to my father’s house, and I’ll say to him, “Father, I was wrong. I have sinned against you. I’ll never be worthy of being called your son. Please, Father, just treat me like one of your employees.”’ Luke 15: 17-19(TPT).
Where are you today?
What are you doing?
Let your remembrance of the Word of God propel you in the right direction.
Peter repented and still become what God has destined for him.
The prodigal son too turned around and was celebrated.
Balaam’s greed and wrong association eventually killed him. Joshua 13: 22

What are you doing with what you remember?

Look, this dreamer is coming!

Look, this dreamer is coming!
“Now, when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they conspired against him to kill him. Then they said to one another, “Look, this dreamer is coming! Come, therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!” (Genesis 37:18-20)
Stop daydreaming! Is usually the phrase or wake up call people say to those who appear to have been lost in their thoughts. Or to a student staring past the teacher and seem not to be aware of what is going on in the class! While it might look out of place to be ‘lost’ in our dream,
it is however not bad to live out our dreams.
Let’s look at the life of the biblical Joseph’s again,
The brothers retorted here comes the dreamer!
That means Joseph was not only a dreamer, but he lived out his dream by sharing it with his brothers and behaving it out in some way
Don’t be discouraged by commentators that said Joseph should have kept quiet about his dream; hence, he would not have been besieged by the challenges that came his way.
What is your dream?
If your dream is truly from God, your stars will make you shine out.
Challenges will still come.
Learn to act upon your idea.
 Believe your God-given dream;
“Arise, you sleeper! Rise up from the dead, and the Anointed One will shine his light into you.” Ephesians 5:14 (TPT)
Say it out like Jesus could tell Pilate for this purpose I was born.
When challenges come your way, don’t use your mouth to negate your God-given dream by outright denial of your purpose in life.
Don’t let your dream remain only in the dreamland
Take a step today to actualize your Purposeful life

Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbor’s house

Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbor’s house
“Hast thou found honey? Eat so much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it.  Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbor’s house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee.” Proverbs 25:16-17 (KJV)
Don’t take that other person for granted.
Don’t wear out that person that offers to help you with your unlimited requests.
Apply some balance in whatsoever you are doing
You don’t have to always speak at every forum, allow others too.
You don’t have to always find something to post in that group chat you belong.
Moderate your texting: let your phone conversation be purposeful and meaningful.
Whenever any person extends their kindness to you be considerate of their sacrifice and don’t wear them out with your needs.
Even with your diet?
Have a balanced diet.
“Aspire to lead a calm and peaceful life as you mind your own business and earn your living, just as we’ve taught you.  By doing this, you will live an honorable life, influencing others, and commanding respect of even the unbelievers. Then you’ll be in need of nothing and not dependent upon others” 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12  (TPT)
Don’t overindulge.
Don’t stay too long and overstay your welcome
Don’t be dependent on others.

Jesus began to do and to teach

Jesus began to do and to teach
“In the former account [which I prepared], O Theophilus, I made (a continuous report) dealing with all the things which Jesus began to do and to teach” ACTS 1:1 (AMPC)
How are we doing in the aspect of actually living out what we preach?
The Bible records that Jesus did walk the talk.
HE began to do first before teaching.
We have so many many around today that only teach and preach, and their personal lives do not match what they teach.
The disciples could ask Jesus to teach them how to pray because of what they saw Him doing.
“One day, as Jesus was in prayer, one of his disciples came over to him as he finished and said, “Would you teach us a model prayer that we can pray, just like John did for his disciples?” Luke 11:1 (TPT)
Don’t be an “armchair Professor” propounding theories and not even experimenting or experiencing what you are professing.
What about your personal life?
Does it match what you teach your audience?
Can your family members attest to what you teach?
Can your close personal assistants and protocol officers openly say what they see you do?
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” James 1:22
The early Apostles allowed the Holy Spirit to lead and teach them.
You cannot impact what you do not have personal victory over.
“So let me ask you this: Why don’t you practice what you preach? You preach, “Don’t steal!” but are you a thief?  You are swift to tell others, “Don’t commit adultery!” but are you guilty of adultery? You say, “I hate idolatry and false gods!” but do you withhold from the true God what is due him?”  Romans 2:21-22  (TPT)
Please let us all follow our Lord’s example in doing first before teaching.
“Great sorrow awaits you, religious scholars and Pharisees—frauds and pretenders! For you are obsessed with peripheral issues, like insisting on paying meticulous tithes on the smallest herbs that grow in your gardens. These matters are fine, yet you ignore the most important duty of all: to walk in the love of God, to display mercy to others, and to live with integrity. Readjust your values and place first things first.” Matthew 23:23 (TPT)
Place First Things First.
Do First before Teaching or Preaching.

Who can understand his errors?

Who can understand his errors?
“Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.  Keep back. Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.” Psalm 19:12-13 (NKJV)
When David first saw Bathsheba, sent for her, recalled her husband from war and subsequently plotted to have him killed, he felt okay.
He did not immediately realize that he was in error.
He felt smart, wise, and very confident in himself that he could handle any challenge.
Until Nathan confronted him. (2 Samuel 12)
What are you doing today that you think you are brilliant and wise?
Are all your ways openly pleasing to God?
Your heart could be deceitful and allow you to continue in sin without realizing it.
“How can a young man stay pure? Only by living in the word of God and walking in its truth. I have longed for you with the passion of my heart; don’t let me stray from your directions!” Psalm 119:9-10  (TPT)
Judas initially thought he was striking a good deal with those who wanted to kill Jesus.
Thirty pieces of silver?
 That was a significant“breakthrough.”(Matthew 26:15)
“Just hug the Master and be instantly rich” he must have thought
Later he realized he had betrayed an innocent man.
Ananias and Sapphira too were smart and ahead of their game.
 No one will know!!!
It landed both of them with early death. (Acts 5:1-11)
What is going on in your heart right now?

“Without this revelation-light, how would I ever detect the waywardness of my heart? Lord, forgive my hidden flaws whenever you find them.  Keep cleansing me, God, and keep me from my secret, selfish sins; may they never rule over me! For only then will I be free from fault and remain innocent of rebellion.” Psalm 19:12-13 (TPT)
David, Peter, and others had the Grace to repent from their mistakes and were restored.
You also can.
Examine your ways today.
“Examine and test and evaluate your selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves, not Christ. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?” 2 Corinthians 13:5 (AMPC)
