By One man

“For as by one man’s disobedience, many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so, might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:19-21 (KJV)
We all know the consequence of Adam’s sin, which subsequently put the man in captivity and the Victory for man which came through the obedience and sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Lord…

Shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called You.

Shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called You.
“Instead, shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called you. For Scripture says: “You are to be holy because I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:15-16 (TPT)
Who are you shaping your life after?
Who is your role model?
Who do you daily emulate?
With all due respect to your gifts, talents, and callings, who do you aspire to be?
The bottom line is the Our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ is our perfect example.
HE is the only person you should benchmark your life after.
Peter, having been privileged to work, walk and be with the Lord before and after His crucifixion and resurrection, made the above conclusion.
You are to be Holy.
Yes, you can be full of Love.
Yes, you can give all that you have.
You can pray 24/7.
However, one essential, indispensable virtue or attribute you must have is Holiness.
How are you doing in this area of your life?

“In every relationship be swift to choose peace over competition, and run swiftly toward holiness, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14(TPT)
Run swiftly towards Holiness.
Work at living a holy life
Try to live holy lives
Live a clean life.
If you don’t, you will never see the Lord.
The Blood of Jesus is available to cleanse you of all your impurity.
Confess all your inadequacies to HIM.
With the Word, His Blood will wash you white as snow.
“Rather, the payment that freed you was the precious blood of Christ, the lamb with no defects or imperfections.” 1 Peter 19(GW)
Don’t postpone making yourself right with God.
Do it now.
HE is waiting for your confession, repentance, and resolution not to continue without being Holy.
Otherwise, you’ll never get so much as a glimpse of God.

God knows what you need.

God knows what you need.
Be not ye, therefore, like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask him. Matt. 6:8 (KJV).
Why do you worry about everything?
Do you have a reason to feel despondent?
God knows everything, also the future.
Before you experience your dark time, God already knows the solution.
He knows what you need.

He wants you to Trust Him at all times
Sometimes He allows certain things to happen.
Sometimes He waits before He helps.
He promised He will not make things more complicated than what you can bear.
Pray, believing God will help you.
Application to the Christian life:
Trust in God.
Believe He will help you.
Trust His guidance.

Find Mark and bring him with you.

Find Mark and bring him with you.
“since Demas deserted me and has left to go to Thessalonica, for he loves his own life. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus has gone to Dalmatia. That leaves only Luke with me, so find Mark and bring him with you, for he is a tremendous help for me in my ministry. I have also dispatched Tychicus to Ephesus to minister there.”
2 Timothy 4: 10-12(TPT)

Who is your own Mark?

Can you still find him or her?
Are you kidding me?
Look for Mark again after all what he did and our disagreements?
Yes, Paul followed our Lord and Savior’s example in relationships.
Should I also say in discipleship?
Once upon a time, Paul had issues with Mark.
“Barnabas wished to take Mark (also known as John) along with them, but Paul disagreed. He didn’t think it was proper to take the one who had deserted them in south-central Turkey, leaving them to do their missionary work without him. It became a heated argument between them, a disagreement so sharp that they parted from each other. Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus.” Acts 15:37-39(TPT)
Mark once had severe challenges with his walk with God.
It was apparent to Barnabas and Paul, possibly other disciples.
Especially at those “prayer meetings.”
Where brethren prayed for backsliders.

Mark was a work in progress.

As Jesus saw what God had purposed to use Peter for, HE forgave him.
Barnabas did not abadon him.
Paul saw what God had purposed in Mark too.
Don’t abandon those brethren you know that started well in the faith.
Don’t give up on them.
Jesus told Peter that Satan had desired to get him down, but HE prayed for him.
Are you praying for those who seem to have issues that you know?
Don’t spread the news of their challenges
Pray and intercede for them.
God is still at work in them.

Mark was once unprofitable to Paul.

However, a time came when God restored him.
Paul was there and obedient to receive him.
He could then say:
Find Mark and bring him with you.
Don’t write anybody off.
Go find your own Mark.

Have faith.

Have faith.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelieve: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matt. 17:20.(KJV).
Why did Jesus use the mustard seed as an example?
From a tiny mustard seed, a massive tree grows.
From small beginnings, great things develop.
Jesus did not say you must be able to remove physical mountains.
He was talking about your daily problems.
Jesus did not say your problems will disappear immediately.

When you have problems and have faith, you will not allow those problems to make your life a misery.

You will have the faith to remain trusting in the ability of God.
You will know everything will turn out well.
God is at work in your life.
Daily read the Word
Daily Praise Him.
You will not be depresse
d.
Do you complain to your friends about your difficult life?
What do you tell them when they complain about their own life too?
Do you have enough faith always to be joyful?
Can you encourage your friends when they are depressed?
Application to the Christian life:
Trust God.
Develop your faith into a tree.
Remain strong.

Jesus is the Sweetest Name I know.

Jesus is the Sweetest Name I know.

“Jesus is the Sweetest Name I know,
And He’s just the same as His lovely Name,
That’s the reason why that I love Him so;
For Jesus is the Sweetest Name I know.
(Yes, he is)
I love Him, I love Him,
Because he first loves me,
And he purchased my salvation,
On calvary’s tree.”
(Song by Jimmy Swaggart)

Is the Name of Jesus still so sweet to you?

Do you still feel that aura of Love and closeness when you call that Name?
Has it become so common that the mention of the Name is now ordinary?
We have been bombarded with a lot of information and misinformation.
It has affected our passionate response and the meaning of the Name.
Today I ask you sincerely in your heart of heart.
When you hear the Name Jesus what does it convey to you?
How do you treat that Name?
How do you use that Name?
How do you say that Name?
How do you share that Name?

“I long to drink of you, O God, to drink deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! My soul thirsts, pants, and longs for the living God. I want to come and see the face of God.” Psalm 42:1-2(TPT)
David sustained a continuous moment by moment relationship with God.
That should be our passion and heartbeat towards our Savior too.
To many spouses in Love, the Name of one another kicks off a lot in each other.
Either by phone call, text, or email, it gets special attention.
When you are around them, you will quickly know who wants their attention.
Watch their reaction when someone mentions that he saw or spoke with either.
You will know that they are definitely in Love with each other.
Again, how is the Name of Jesus to you today?
When HE wants to talk to you, does HE get your attention?
Do you seek that intimate moment with Him too?
Don’t let that Name become just a routine.
Like the world’s major currencies, they deliver their worth in the transaction you engage them with.
“The Name of Jesus is higher than all names
Just name a sickness, or any problem
At the mention of that Name they bow they fall
The Name of Jesus is higher than them all” {David Ingles}
How are you using that excellent Name of Jesus?
Is it still the sweetest Name to you?
