Be A Person After God’s Heart.

Be A Person After God’s Heart.
“And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel forever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the Lord hath sought a man after his own heart, and the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over his people because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee.” 1 Sam. 13:13-14.(KJV).
David was a man after God’s heart.
He replaced Saul as king because Saul lost favor with God.
Saul also lost his kingdom.
It was given to David.
Saul chose popularity with the people.
David sought to please God.
Do you want to keep your place in the Kingdom of God?
Then you must find favor with God.
How do you find favor with God?
Daily do His will.
Honor Him as the only God.
Do all that is required to keep your inheritance in the Kingdom of God.
Don’t lose yours as Saul did.
Application to the Christian life:
Keep the commandments of God.
Serve God.
Learn from Jesus Daily.
Follow Him.

Never Again.

Never Again.
“The people of the city said to Elisha, “Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad, and the land is unproductive.” “Bring me a new bowl,” he said, “and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the LORD says: ‘I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’” And the water has remained pure to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.” 2 Kings 2:19-22 (NIV)
When the people of the city brought their situation to Elisha.
He Listened.
He heard from God.
Based on what God told him, he acted.
The water was not only cured.
It never went bad again.
Why do you have a reoccurring challenge?
God wants you to know that this troubling situation won’t occur again.
When God heals, HE heals permanently.
He heals All.
“Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases” Psalm 103:2-3(NKJV)
You maintain your divine healing when God Heals by staying true to His word.
Remember the parable of the empty house.
“When a demon is cast out of a person, it roams around a dry region, looking for a place to rest, but never finds it. Then it says, ‘I’ll return to the house I moved out of,’ and so it goes back, only to find that the house is vacant, warm, and ready for it to move back in. So it goes looking for seven other demons more evil than itself, and they all enter together to live there. Then the person’s condition becomes much worse than it was in the beginning. This describes what will also happen to the people of this evil generation.” Matthew 12:43-45 (TPT)
God told Noah, “Never again” will water destroy all life. (Genesis 9:15)
Pharaoh and his army that pursued never did so again.
“Moses answered the people, “Don’t be afraid! Stand still, and see what the LORD will do to save you today. You will never see these Egyptians again. The LORD is fighting for you! So be still!” Exodus 14:13-14 (GW)
Tell that challenge in the Name of Jesus Never Again.

You are a Special Peculiar People.

You are a Special Peculiar People.
“For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.” Deuteronomy 7:6.(KJV).
God chose the Israelites to be His people.
They were to be a model.
After Jesus sacrificed His life, God chose new people.
Those who believe and follow Him.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;” 1 Peter 2:9(KJV)
Do you want to be part of the special people?
Are you part of the holy people that will enter the Kingdom of God?
God chose you by your name.
He Knows You.
He Loves You.
Follow Him.
Believe in Jesus and learn from Him.

Especially to become who God has purposed me to be.
Today I celebrate you again and again.
Happy Birthday to you, My Lovely Wife Olutoyin.

Choices by Faith.

Choices by Faith.
“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.” (Hebrews 11:24-26) KJV
Every day we have to make choices.
Our choices are according to our wishes and aspirations.
In Hebrews chapter 11, we find a list of people who made various choices.
They were directed by their faith in making their decisions.
For example, Moses’ parents had to choose between what?
They had to choose between their lives and their child’s life.
They chose to risk their lives to save their son’s life.
Moses had to choose.
He chose “rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin.”
At the age of 40, Moses was face to face with two different nations and two different destinies:
The Egyptians and the Jews have two different perspectives:
The glory of Egypt or carrying the Cross for Jesus.
What did Moses choose?
Well, we know the answer to this question, right?
Moses chose to suffer for the people of God.
Weird, isn’t it?
Looking at it from the world’s perspective, that’s “an insane man! “
Why did he make such a choice?
The world would have suggested that he remain in Pharaoh’s house and put a good word in for the Jews instead.
You can’t mix the two;
It is one or the other.
You have to choose every day:
Whether you’re going to live for God’s glory
Or for the passing pleasures of sin.
What choice are you making today?
Application for the Christian life:
Choose eternal life with Jesus.
This earth will surely pass away.
Choose Eternal Life
Regardless of the challenges here on earth.

Only One God.

Only One God.
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.” Deuteronomy 6:4.(KJV).
There is only one God.
God is Good.
God is the Almighty.
God is Omnipotent.
Glory and Honor Him at all times in all situations.
Keep His commandments in your heart and serve Him.
Regardless of your friends’ opinions, HE is still God.
Regardless of their scorn:
Be humble and let the LOVE of God fill your heart.
Tell your friends about God.
Let them experience the wonders of God with you.
Learn from history.
God allowed the Israelites to develop into a nation.
He led them out of Egypt into the promised land, Canaan, doing miraculous deeds.
He guided the Israelites until the birth of Jesus without anybody stopping Him.
From the birth of Jesus to date, His protection is over those following Him.
Nobody can change the plan of God.
He is leading His children to His Kingdom.
They will reach heaven.
Do you want to be there with Him?
What are you doing to be there?
Application to the Christian life:
Believe in the omnipotence of God.
Subject your life to Him.
Allow Him to take charge of your life.

Why Believe in God?

Why Believe in God?
“Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen; I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.” (Psalm 46:8- 11) KJV
Jesus wasn’t surprised when people still didn’t want to believe in God (Luke 16:31).
For some people, unless they see God with their two eyes, he simply doesn’t exist.
God did make Himself visible to people, in the person of Jesus Christ.
Why do we believe that God exists?
HE really does exist! (Psalm 46:10) KJV
People want to see God, but please don’t forget:
The only way to know God is through REVELATION!
Faith is being able to see invisible realities.
Most people see life as an arc that starts with the birth that we can’t remember, and ends with our death, which we can’t imagine.
Jesus spoke about His role before His birth and after His death.
It’s to my advantage to believe in God… through Christ.
True faith in God is changing my life, values, conduct, and destiny.
Hope you really believe in God?
Trust that this faith is continually changing your life too.
Application for the Christian life:
See everything around you.
Realize it is the creation only God could make.
Read the Bible.
Know that all the Bible prophesies are coming into fulfillment.
Only God could let everything happen according to His plan.
Believe in God.
Believe in Jesus.
What you don’t see at times is more accurate than the seen.
