Put the noise and the crowd away

“When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing,  He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him.  But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all that land.”  Matthew 9:23-26
Determine today to put the noise and the crowds around your awaiting miracle out and truly focus on Jesus in order to receive your miracle.
The ruler in the above story could have been emotionally trapped with the noise and the crowd that told him the daughter was dead but he listened attentively to Jesus and moved beyond the crowd and the noise.
Furthermore he had to drive them away on Jesus’s instructions.
There could be a lot of “noise and crowd” around your situation and you are listening and analyzing them.
The noisome wailing around the situation is always welcoming to your human flesh and soul.
It gives you a sense of connection to the reality   of the situation.
However remember that you are first and foremost a spiritual person that must walk in the supernatural.
To walk and receive in the supernatural you have to do what Jesus did.
Jesus went in and followed the Fathers instructions to Him and the miracle happened.
Make up your mind today to believe the report of the Almighty God.
Don’t believe the report of those who say they are like grasshoppers and the giants cannot be defeated.
Be like Joshua and Caleb and with faith and positive confession possess yourpromised land.
Today follow Jesus all the way don’t get distracted with the noise and the crowd around your situation.
Go Spiritual.
God made you in His Image as an overcomer.
Whatever you have started based on HIS word HE is able to accomplish.

“But what have I done to deserve this?”

Obadiah said, “But what have I done to deserve this? Ahab will kill me. As surely as your God lives, there isn’t a country or kingdom where my master hasn’t sent out search parties looking for you. And if they said, ‘We can’t find him; we’ve looked high and low,’ he would make that country or kingdom swear that you were not to be found. And now you’re telling me, ‘Go and tell your master Elijah’s found!’ The minute I leave you the Spirit of God will whisk you away to who knows where. Then when I report to Ahab, you’ll have disappeared and Ahab will kill me. And I’ve served God devoutly since I was a boy! Hasn’t anyone told you what I did when Jezebel was out to kill the prophets of God, how I risked my life by hiding a hundred of them, fifty to a cave, and made sure they got food and water? And now you’re telling me to draw attention to myself by announcing to my master, ‘Elijah’s been found.’ Why, he’ll kill me for sure.” 1 Kings 18:9-14
Are you lately in a situation like Obadiah was and you are saying to yourself what have you done to deserve this?
You have served God to the best of your ability but the results you get are not matching your expectations? .
It appears that rather than God showing up HE is requesting you to do more risky of foolish things that will further make more mockery of your faith?
You are not alone in what you are going through. Keep Holding on.
That encounter with Elijah resulted with manifestation of the victory God had purposed yet it required one more faithful obedience to God by Obadiah to facilitate this.
“So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.” Galatians 6:9
Don’t give up now. Consolidate your victory. Step out one more time in faith with God and like Elijah told Obadiah  “ As the Lord of hosts lives, before Whom I stand, I will surely show myself to Ahab today.” 1 Kings 18:15
The Victory and the Reward is around the corner don’t give up.

Do you want God’s answer to your prayers?

”Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”(Matthew 7:7)
Did you ever prayed? Do you like to pray? Do you want God to answer to your prayers?
I think that Jesus wants to teach some important things about prayers. I don’t know how do you pray, I don’t know how often do you pray, I don’t know what you’re praying about, but I know what Jesus wants us to learn.
In order to pray, we need to recognize our failure. Jesus starts saying: ”Ask”. When you don’t have something, you ask to receive that thing. This is what Jesus is saying this. First, you need to realise your needs, your failure. We are not perfect. We don’t know them all. We are very limited. We are weak. We are instable. We need so many things. Well, to all of this kind of people, Jesus said: ”Ask”. Erroneously we often say heaven help those who help themselves. This statement is not Biblical. God wants you to depend on HIM in the finished work of Grace. So ask
But not only this. It’s not enough only to ask. We have some responsibilities as well. First, we ask, but secondly we seek. This is a very important lesson. Not only to ask, but also to seek. What to seek? Jesus is telling us in chapter 6 from Gospel of Matthew to seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness. And in the prophets, God said that we will seek Him and we will find Him, if we will seek Him with all of our hearts.
And the last important thing that Jesus is teaching us in this passage, is that we need to have a permanent relationship with him. He says: ”Knock”. Remember Revelation 3:20? It’s all about a strong relationship with Him. A continuous relationship.
So, I’m asking you again: Do you want God’s answer to your prayers?

Waiting on God

“I waited and waited and waited for GOD…  At last he looked; finally he listened.” Psalm 40:1
Waiting on God to bring to pass the promises HE has made is one of the most challenging features of our walk with HIM. Initially when we come to the Lord some requests were almost instant. Miracles happened immediately and we are thrilled serving God. However we begin to notice that one aspect of our desire or even a glaring need is not granted automatically like others then we realize that on this particular issue we have to practically wait on HIM. We can not hurry the Creator to perform within our time frame.
This phase of our life while we “waited and waited for God is what the psalmist in the above verses describes.
How do you handle your waiting time especially when you see this issue you are waiting on Him for did not take this long for others to get results?
Like the case of Hannah wanting a child and Peninnah her rival was having babies without any stress.
What do you do while others are laughing at you that you don’t have proof that you are serving God?
HE will surely come through. Don’t Give Up.
We are used to timing and programming things like the computer but God at times does not work that way.
Don’t grumble.
Don’t abandon the faith at this crucial waiting moment.
Peter went fishing again immediately after the crucifixion of our Lord and unfortunately some disciples went with him but they caught nothing. Eventually the resurrection came.
Keep waiting.
Your resurrection time is coming.
“Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying,
“God has lost track of me. He doesn’t care what happens to me”?
Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.”Isaiah 40: 27-31
Keep your focus on God.
No negative Confession.
Keep waiting.
HE will surely show up and you will soon have a song of Praise in you mouth for your Victory.

Just Once it shall all be yours … don’t it’s a lie from the devil

“Then the devil took Him up to a high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the habitable world in a moment of time [ in the twinkling of an eye].  And he said to Him, To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will. Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me [ just once], it shall all be Yours. And Jesus replied to him, get behind Me, Satan! It is written, You shall do homage to and worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.” Luke 4; 5-8
The devil threw the bait to Jesus to try this temptation only once and Jesus will get the quick victory.
How many times and in how many ways has the devil been coming to you with the same old rhetoric of trying this Just once?
You know you should not really do it but he comes with those persuasive words “just this one time, it would not hurt” “ Just taste it once and if you don’t like it” “Let’s just do it once and if you don’t like it I will stop” “Others have tried it and you can just do it once too” It’s endless the way the enemy packages the temptation offer to you disguising the terrible consequences of sin with the phrase just once.
The result of doing it just once the devil’s ways is always in disobedience to God’s ways and has always brought with it an open door to series of bondages.
Today be wise like your Lord and savior Jesus Christ don’t just do it once.
Respond with the Word of God and don’t “Just do it once”.
Completely turn away from that luring seemingly harmless expression of doing it once.
Tell him like Jesus did “Him only you shall serve”
Avoid that deception of trying out what God has clearly told you not to do.
Breaking the law one time seems a harmless temptation but that one time you may be caught and you throw in to total disrepute all that you have labored for all the years.
Don’t just do it once, tell “satan get behind me” and move forward in victory like Jesus did.

Live out your dream! – Part 2

“Now when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they conspired against him to kill him. Then they said to one another, “Look, this dreamer is coming! Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!” (Genesis 37:18-20)
Gideon having had an encounter with God knew that even though he started out timid when he heard the narration of the dream of the enemy’s camp he knew it was time to act on it and not to go to sleep again. He seized that momentous revelation and it turned out to be victorious to him.
When Pharaoh shared his dream with Joseph and he heard the interpretation, he seized the moment and acted upon his dream.  He did not go back to sleep, but he took steps based on the revelation which, by the way, started with the appointment of Joseph who always believed in his dream.
Resting and meditation time is good. So also receiving prophecy after prophecy is also good, but you must act out in obedience what God has told you. Moving round prophets and churches for confirmation and a second, third and fourth opinion is not living out your dream.
Paul received in a dream the directive to come to Macedonia and help. He acted it out by going. Even when dreams and visions told him of hardships on the way to preaching the Gospel at Rome, he set out trusting in the sovereignty of the Almighty God.
Act now! Do not delay! Take a step of faith today in that which God has revealed to you to do. God never gives us the complete picture at the beginning, but once you know the purpose and the destination the step by step direction will be revealed.
He will be your driver as you obey His directives. He will distinguish you as you live out your God given dream today! His resources and provisions will follow as you obey.
