If thou hast run with the footmen

If thou hast run with the footmen

If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan? Jeremiah 12:5 {KJV}

Don’t be discouraged nor give up easily over your purposeful life.

What are the current challenges that you are facing that seems insurmountable?

Worse still the enemy is trying to tell you that the trouble is too much and the hardship or difficulty is getting more than you can bear.

Today God is reminding you that the Greater One lives inside of you than all those oppositions put together.

For every level of assignment, Jesus handled like a man the enemy was there to challenge him, and it kept escalating the opposition to the final extent of killing HIM. However that was his folly, had he known he would not have crucified HIM. (None of the rulers of this age recognized and understood this wisdom; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;) 1 Corinthians 2:28

As the enemy thinks he has gotten you rounded up God has made a way of escape for you. Be Still. Hear Him, and HE is showing you the way out of that challenge.

As you grow in your purposeful life he will keep bringing challenges but inside of you is the same Savior that defeated Him on the cross and HE will defeat Him again and again in your life.

“So, Jeremiah, if you’re worn out in this footrace with men, what makes you think you can race against horses?

And if you can’t keep your wits during times of calm, what’s going to happen when troubles break loose like the Jordan flood?

Those closest to you, your brothers and cousins, are working against you.

They’re out to get you. They’ll stop at nothing.

Don’t trust them, especially when they’re smiling.”  Jeremiah 12: 5-6(MSG)

Don’t Give Up.

The kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

The kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” Proverbs 27:6 (KJV)

The kiss from Judas is often the most used as an example of great deception. Judas had bargained with 30 pieces of silver to betray Jesus’s Christ and the sign he gave the Roman soldiers who had difficulty in actuality identifying who our Lord Jesus was among the disciples was a kiss.

The Judas of today is still betraying you but do you know your betrayer and what ransom he has taken from your enemy and the consequences on your destiny?

Jesus knew what role Judas was going to play in his Purposeful life and He followed God’s plan for his life.

Does it mean you should allow your enemy to betray you and you do nothing?

From our text today True friends will tell you the blunt truth that will sometimes hurt your feelings and sometimes painfully get you out of self-ego trip you that you are deceiving yourself. It may appear that they have just hurt your feelings.

However, today’s betrayer will tell all that you want to hear and will not lovingly confront you when you are wrong. Once they are away from you, they say to everyone that cares your weaknesses.

Who are you surrounding yourself with on your board, team and close friends?

Regarding your Spiritual growth, do you know the types of TV programs you are watching?

Messages and preachers that are telling you the truth but you still choose to listen to those that will always say you are okay even when you know you are playing with sin.

You feel comfortable with putting one leg in the Church and the other leg in the world.

Flattery and self-deceit will cut short your destiny.

Examine yourself today and be true to yourself.

Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are lavish and deceitful.

Let the truth of the Word of God always be your guide. “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:11(KJV)

Think on these things.

Think on these things.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8

Filters generally help eliminate impurities from slowing down the productivity or the efficiency of a production process. To get the best out of the equipment the screen is periodically checked, cleaned and sometimes replaced.

To fulfill your purpose in life God has given you that capacity that whatsoever you can think of positively and confess it with your mouth you will indeed achieve it.

“ And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Genesis 11:6

Once your thoughts, confessions, and actions consistently match each other nothing is impossible for you to attain.

However mankind faces one big challenge with the mind where the thought process is incubated and directed to become thoughts which are selected to act upon, different thoughts emerge on the same issue hence God provided a filter for you in our text for today.

“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” Philippians 4:8-9 (MSG)

To make your mind produce the best thought process use this God-given filter to refine your thoughts.

The confusion, stagnation, double-mindedness, and procrastination you do experience may be because your filter is clogged and you need to renew your mind with the Word of God.

Today, before you give action to that brilliant idea of yours, let God’s guideline filters your thoughts.

I will not forget thee

Yet will I not forget thee.

“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” Isaiah 49:15-16 (KJV)

God is reminding You today that HE has not forgotten about you.

It may seem that HE has forgotten you with the myriads of challenges you have been facing.

You sometimes wonder and see how others get their things done, but nothing is happening on your side please don’t give up God has not forgotten about you.

Naturally and logically a mother ideally should not forget her child, but contrary to expectations some mothers had done so.

However, God is assuring and reassuring you today that your situation is different.

God remembers you and HE is working out His plans and purpose for your life.

“Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have, for you always have God’s presence. For hasn’t he promised you,

“I will never leave you alone, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!” Hebrews 13:5 (TPT)

Never let your situation cause you to depart from God’s presence for HE again promises you that HE will not quit on you.

God has not forgotten about you, keep that hope alive.

Those dreams and desires HE has put in you will still happen.

When? You are asking.

Jehovah God is speaking to you today that He has not forgotten about You.

Your fulfillment is never too late.

Yet will I not forget thee.

Be diligent to understand the meaning of everything you hear

Be diligent to understand the meaning of everything you hear

“Then he said to them, “Be diligent to understand the meaning behind everything you hear, for as you do, more understanding will be given to you. And according to the depth of your longing to understand, much more will be added to you.” Mark 4: 24

Don’t hear the word just for the hearing sake, listen to it with the sole purpose of understanding it so that your spiritual life can be progressive.

Many hear the scriptures, and usually, the attitude is “I know that passage.”

Yes we mentally know the Bible, in fact, some nonbelievers have read the Bible cover to cover, and it did not profit them spiritually because they just read it for knowledge sake.

From today change your attitude to how and what you hear from the word of God.

Take time to meditate on the meaning and the application of the Word of God you hear.

As you daily do this, you will see not only the transformation but also the fulfillment of your life’s assignment.

There a quite a lot of things competing for your attention every second including the time you pay to the word of God when you hear or read the word please pay much more attention to it.

Your true prosperity lies in the word of God you hear/read with understanding and resolution to apply it to your life.

“How well God must like you-you don’t hang out at Sin Saloon,  you don’t slink along Dead-End Road; you don’t go to Smart-Mouth College.

Instead, you thrill to God’s Word; you chew on Scripture day and night.

You’re a tree replanted in Eden, bearing fresh fruit every month,

Never dropping a leaf, always in blossom.” Psalm 1:1-3 (Msg)

Be diligent to understand the meaning of everything you hear

Let not mine enemies’ triumph over me.

“O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.”Psalm25: 2 KJV

David cried out to God for help to God to help him have complete victory over his enemies. He was a mere shepherd boy tending to his family’s sheep when he was called for and anointed as king. Did not lobby to become the king but was divinely chosen yet the opposition was fierce. For 13 years after being anointed, he was still running form forces that did not want him to become what God has purposed.

However, no matter what the enemy tried God’s purpose certainly came to pass in his life.

Where are you today and what are you going through?

God who has purposed your life before the foundations of the world will surely see to the fulfillment of it in Jesus name.

“God-of-the-Angel-Armies speaks: “Exactly as I planned, it will happen. Following my blueprints, it will take shape. I will shatter the Assyrian who trespasses my land and stomp him into the dirt on my mountains. I will ban his taking and making of slaves and lift the weight of oppression from all shoulders.” This is the plan, plan for the whole earth, And this is the hand that will do it, reaching into every nation. God-of-the-Angel-Armies has planned it. Who could ever cancel such plans? His is the hand that’s reached out. Who could brush it aside?” Isaiah 14:27 (MSG)

No matter the pressure that you may be going through trust in God.

HE did not cause David to be ashamed.

HE will not allow you to be put to shame too.

Your enemies in whatever manner shape or forms are confronting you right now will not triumph over you in Jesus Name.

God has the final say in your life.

Exactly as God planned David became the king, so also your destiny will be fulfilled as you keep your wholesome trust in HIM.

Your enemy will not triumph over you.

“Who has the final say?

Jehovah has the final say

Who has the final say?

Jehovah has the final say”
