For if our heart condemn us,
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 1 John 3:20
One of the challenges of the Christian Faith is that satan the enemy comes around to put the guilt sign on the child of God thereby making him/ her feel unworthy to serve and receive Blessings continually from God.
God is reassuring you today not to allow the enemy to weigh you down in your God-given assignments through your self-pity, wrong and wrong thoughts about yourself.
You may have missed Him from what you initially consider a simple thing to a huge issue. Don’t cut out your fellowship with Him because of that incident, even if that’s the way you are feeling.
The strategy of the enemy is first to tempt a person to sin, and after that, he comes with the terrible evil emotional thoughts about betraying God. Subsequently, you don’t feel like praising and praying to God and even to attend fellowship becomes an option for consideration.
Don’t allow yourself to be lured out of God’s Presence. You cannot hide anything from Him however you get the ability to recover and be restored when you confess your sins. Whenever you make a mistake. Repent of your sin and make a quality decision involving structures that will ensure you don’t fall again.
With the assurance of the unfailing love of God get back into right fellowship with God.
“The Lord lifts the fallen and those bent beneath their loads.”
“My dear children let’s not just talk about love; let’s practice real love. This is the only way we’ll know we’re living truly, living in God’s reality. It’s also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.”
Don’t stay out of His Presence no matter how you may feel.
Remember how welcoming the father in The Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) was to the repented and returning son.
“He will lift us up when we stumble
We are the Apple of His Eyes
We have A Great Big wonderful God…”
The LORD is the strength of my life.
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
Where is the source of your strength?
The Psalmist in the above scripture confirms that God is the source of his strength.
How do you draw your strength from God?
It’s basically through the study of HIS Word. The more of the Bible you study, the more of Him you become and with the help of the Holy Spirit you receive the strength continually for all the life’s assignments that HE has given you.
Some may tell you that they get their strength from the occult and different mystical groups with Biblical colorations don’t be deceived such powers from satan ultimately destroy.
Real and lasting strength neither comes from alcohol or smoking any type “smokables” Look at the countless celebrities, and the so-called superstars that got their inspirations from such source are destroyed through that medium as well.
For a real and lasting career in whatever your chosen field may make God your source of strength and HE will give you fulfillment.
“Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying,
“GOD has lost track of me. He doesn’t care what happens to me”?
Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening?
GOD doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.” Isaiah 40:27-31
Remember that chorus based on Psalm 42: 1-2 “As the hart panteth after the water so my souls pants after you “
Once God is your secured strength, HE gives you continuous long healthy and prosperous life.
Let the Lord be the strength of your life.
I do not know
I do not know
“Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?”
He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” Genesis 4:9
Sometimes you hear the expression I Don’t know used when you ask people some questions you expect them to know.
Cain in his answer back to God suggests that God should have figured out what happened and should not ask him. His response was self-denial of the truth he knew but refused to acknowledge.
In what areas of your life are you living in deception and self-denial?
Cain was enraged with Jealousy, which he allowed to overwhelm him, and pushed him to murder his brother Abel.
You may not be killing a physical Abel but how many good and great ideas of other people have you shot down because you did not get it so nobody else can get it?
You may also be in the position to recommend or promote others, but you internally have disdain, and your response is I don’t know?
Have a kingdom mindset to love and enhance God’s purpose in the lives of other people you may be privileged to come across. Don’t say I do not know.
Encourage that person in his or area or gifting. Your lifting up that person will undoubtedly pave the way for your enlargement and ultimate fulfillment.
In 1Kings 21 we also see Ahab who was so absorbed and overtaken by his wrongful desire for Naboth’s vineyard that he eventually got him killed through the plot hatched by his wife, Jezebel.
“Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.” 1 John 3:12
The woman whom thou gavest to be with me.
The woman whom thou gavest to be with me.
“ And he said, who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” Genesis 3:11-12 (KJV)
Stop blaming others for your predicament.
Adam started this passing the buck game very very early, and it seems to have stuck with mankind.
Rather than admitting that he has made a mistake and take full responsibility Adam went around the issue blaming God rather than looking inwards to find out exactly how and why he dropped the ball.
When you take full responsibility for what has happened to you and with the help of the Holy Spirit, you quickly see where the mistakes had occurred and how best to fix it
When God turned to ask Eve what happened she, in turn, blamed the serpent.
Again we find Saul in 1 Samuel 15 not only playing the blame game still but rationalizing the issue and putting the blame on the people. He did not face the truth immediately about himself, and it cost him his kingdom.
When you blame, argue, rationalize and try to justify your predicament on others you gradually move towards rebellion and hardening of heart with more significant consequences.
Whether the issue is between husband and wife, parents and children, immediate family members and other team members, you interact with on your life’s assignment STOP playing the blame game today.
“Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:” Genesis 41:9
The Butler admitted his fault openly about how he forgot Joseph’s help while in prison. His sincerity and credibility further enhanced God’s move to get Joseph to the Palace.
Your true repentance and honesty could help someone along the way in fulfilling their destiny.
” Why would you focus on the flaw in someone else’s life and yet fail to notice the glaring flaws of your own?” Matthew 7:3
Stop blaming others
“You can’t whitewash your sins and get by with it; you find mercy by admitting and leaving them.” Proverbs 28:13
Jesus Christ came as a better Adam giving us the great example of taking responsibility for our own life.
He did not play the blame game instead HE showed us the right path to greatness by HIS selfless love for others.
HE reached out to the man at the pool of Bethsaida blaming others for his inability to get well and taught him how to take personal responsibility for his predicament and he received his total healing. (John 5: 1-15)
