Keep your hope to the end

Keep your hope to the end
“But keep your hope[a] to the end, and you will experience life and deliverance.” Matthew 24:13 (TPT)
No matter what you are going through don’t give up.
Hold on to the promise that God has given you in His Word.
“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever” Isaiah 40:8 (AMPC)
Don’t just focus on the facts around you.
Subject those facts to the enduring Word of God.
The Author and Finisher of our Faith also had His Hope kept alive based on the Word the Father said to Him.
“Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!” Hebrews 12:2 (MSG)
Jesus has never failed, and He will not fail you.
Keep Praising Him
He will definitely show up.
“Human beings are frail and temporary, like grass,  and the glory of man fleeting like blossoms of the field. The grass dries and withers, and the flowers fall off,  but the Word of the Lord endures forever! And this is the Word that was announced to you!” 1 Peter 1:24-25 (TPT)

It’s Not Mine to Give.

It’s Not Mine to Give.
“And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of My cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.”  (Matthew 20:23) KJV
Jesus told the mother of Zebedee’s sons that who sits on His right or left was not for Him to give but for the Father.
Do we take time to reflect and understand this when we appoint people to serve in the church?
Are we conscious of this truth that positions in the body of Christ are the exclusive prerogative of the OWNER of that body?
In appointing people to positions of responsibilities in the work of God at any level, we should take time to ask the actual owner of the work. Which as our Lord Jesus Christ said in the above scriptures, that it belongs to God.
We should be reminded by this verse that God is the owner of His work. Therefore, we should always find out from Him whom He would want to appoint to serve in any capacity in His work be it a church or ministry.
It should also serve as an awakening thought to all of us that because it is His work we will, therefore, give an account to Him of what we have done here on earth,
He still determines the reward that we will get in heaven.
With what motives are you, therefore, giving out His work for others to do?
How do you invite speakers for the program He asked you to do for His Glory?

Prayerfully find out from God whom He has purposed from heaven to carry out that assignment.

A season of intense intercession

“When Herod realized how much this pleased the Jewish leaders, he had Peter arrested and thrown into prison during the Feast of Passover. Sixteen soldiers were assigned to guard him until Herod could bring him to public trial, immediately after the Passover celebrations were over. The church went into a season of intense intercession, asking God to free him.  ….all at once an angel of the Lord appeared, filling his prison cell with a brilliant light. The angel struck Peter on the side to awaken him and said, “Hurry up! Let’s go!” Instantly the chains fell off his wrists. The angel told him, “Get dressed. Put on your sandals, bring your cloak, and follow me.” Acts 12:4-8  (TPT)
Intercessory prayer still works.
I know you say you do pray.
How often do you intercede?
Great, Prayer of Faith and positive declarations are great too.
Intercession is the prayer that pleads with God for your needs and the needs of others.
Not “me only”prayers.
It is based on taking hold of God’s will and refusing to let go until His will comes to pass.
“Intercession is warfare — the key to God’s battle plan for our lives.”
The church then prayed for Peter, who was imprisoned by Herod.
Who are you interceding for?
Relationship with Christ is not just asking for yourself and members of your family.
Ask the Holy Spirit who you and your ministry should be interceding for periodically.
“Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion.”1 Timothy 2:1 (TPT)
Intercede with intense passion as the Holy Spirit leads you

And Joseph’s master took him and put him in the prison

And Joseph’s master took him and put him in the prison

“And Joseph’s master took him and put him in the prison, a place where the state prisoners were confined; so he was there in the prison.  But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy and loving-kindness and gave him favor in the sight of the warden of the prison.  And the warden of the prison committed to Joseph’s care all the prisoners who were in the prison; and whatsoever was done there, he was in charge of it. The prison warden paid no attention to anything that was in [Joseph’s] charge, for the Lord was with him and made whatever he did to prosper.” Genesis 39:20-23 (AMPC)
What are the circumstances of life that seem to have imprisoned you?
Remember again the story of Joseph that in spite of his innocence he ended up in prison
However, because Joseph’s prison sojourn was part and parcel of his destiny, the Lord was with him and made him prosper.
Joseph never gave up on his dream and destiny.
One day he became the Prime Minister of Egypt.
It was that same wrong imprisonment that was his pathway to the palace.
Keep being obedient to Him.
Keep praising Him.
The Injustice you are experiencing is your pathway to the palace.
Remember the story of the imprisonment of Joseph again.
His life did not end up there.
You will come out of the situation life has put you in Jesus Name.

He seized him by the throat

He seized him by the throat
“No sooner had the servant left when he met one of his fellow servants, who owed him twenty thousand dollars He seized him by the throat and began to choke him, saying, ‘You’d better pay me right now everything you owe me!’ His fellow servant threw himself facedown at his feet and begged, ‘Please be patient with me. If you’ll just give me time, I will repay you all that is owed.’ But the one who had his debt forgiven stubbornly refused to forgive what was owed him. He had his fellow servant thrown into prison and demanded he remain there until he repaid the debt in full.”

Matthew 18:28-30(TPT)
Retake a look at “The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant” Matthew 18:23-35.
Please read it over one more time and examine your life.
Is there someone you have seized by the throat?
Are you holding somebody in your mind, in your thoughts and not forgiving?
You may not be holding the person physically in your hand, as illustrated in that parable.
However, the mere mention of that person’s name makes your heart beat faster?
The thoughts of what the person has done to you make you boil all over again?
How many times have you narrated the offense that person did to you to different people over the years?
Worse still, you have not even talked to the offender what the offense is?
Have you locked up the person in the prison of your mind?
Receive Grace today to release that person from the prison of your thoughts.
The more you hold that person with contempt in your heart, the more you have put yourself back into the prison of limitations.
God has said this Year 2019 is a year of NO LIMITATIONS
Stop talking and narrating the incident over and over again.
As God has forgiven you so also forgive.
The consequence of UnForgiveness is in the following verses:
“The king summoned the man and said, ‘You evil servant! I forgave your entire debt when you begged me for mercy. Shouldn’t you be compelled to be merciful to your fellow servant who asked for mercy?’ The king was furious and put the screws to the man until he paid back his entire debt. And that’s exactly what my Father in heaven is going to do to each one of you who doesn’t forgive unconditionally anyone who asks for mercy.” Matthew 18:23-35 (MSG)
Jesus forgave you all unconditionally.
“Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others].” Mark 11:25 (AMP)
Forgive unconditionally and stop holding the person by the throat.
