An unfriendly person isolates himself.

An unfriendly person isolates himself.

‘’An unfriendly person isolates himself and seems to care only about his own issues. For his contempt of sound judgment makes him a recluse. Senseless people find no pleasure in acquiring true wisdom, for all they want to do is impress you with what they know.’’ Proverbs 18:1-2 [TPT]

A loner is out to get what he wants for himself. He opposes all sound reasoning.
It’s selfish and stupid to think only of yourself and to sneer at people who have sense.
An unfriendly person pursues selfish ends and, against all sound judgment, starts quarrels.

Be careful that you don’t cut yourself off from everybody.

You need to watch it when you are wiser than all around you.
It is self-arrogance when you are above correction.
How come you are the only person that keeps insisting that you are right on all issues?.
Watch out that you don’t unpleasantly isolate yourself.

Definitely, there are some terrible associations you may need to cut off.

Some so-called friends may not be suitable for you.

However, be careful that you are not just full of yourself.
“People lose their way without wise leadership, but a nation succeeds and stands in victory when it has many good counselors to guide it.”
Proverbs 11:14(TPT)
Be in the midst of people of sound mind, courage, and judgment.
(2 Timothy 1:7)

Don’t forsake the fellowship of other believers.
Even though because of the pandemic, you don’t physically congregate.
Reach out and stay connected with like-minded people through viable means.
You are the salt of the earth.
You are the light of the world.
Be active, involved, and influence the people around you for His Kingdom.
Find someone reliable and trustworthy to share your concerns with.
Don’t be a lone ranger in these challenging times.

They loved human praise more than the praise of God.

They loved human praise more than the praise of God.

“For they loved human praise more than the praise of God.”
John 12:43(NLT)
“For they loved the glory that men could give them rather than the glory that came from God!” John12:43(TPT)
“They were more concerned about what people thought of them than about what God thought of them” John 12:43(GW)

What really drives you?
Praise of men or glory of God.

Have you been introduced recently, and you felt unacknowledged?
Would you have been happier if they had poured more accolades?
Child of God, be careful.
Be very careful that you don’t get consumed with the praise of men.
Remember that all that you are is from God.
All that you ever did or will still do is purely by His Grace.
Remember the story of Herod.
“Immediately, an angel from the Lord killed Herod for not giving glory to God. Herod was eaten by maggots, and he died.” Acts 12:23(GW)
John the Baptist showed a better example.
“Jesus must become more important, while I become less important.” John 3:30(CEV)
Jesus Christ, the Author and finisher of our faith, is our perfect example.
“Jesus answered them, “If I were to tell you how great I am, it would mean nothing. But my Father is the One who will prove it and will glorify me. Isn’t he the One you claim is your God?” John 8:54(TPT)

Recheck your heart today.
What energizes you?
Thoughts of men or thoughts from God?

Blessed are you when people insult you…

Blessed are you when people insult you…
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, lie, and say all kinds of evil things about you because of me.” Matthew 5:11(GW)
Really?
Am I blessed when people deliberately insult me?
Yes.
You are blessed when the insult and accusations are based on your faith.

Challenges of life include people saying false things about you.

It hurts more when it is coming from the people you trust and rely on:
The brethren that you are of the same faith, fellowship, ministry, and church are those behind the falsehood.
Our perfect example, the Author and Finisher of our Faith, says you are Blessed.
Don’t react in the flesh.

The more you try to clear yourself using logic and common sense, the deeper you hurt yourself.
You are not the first person that will be wrongly accused, and you won’t be the last.
Turn over everything to God and allow Him to direct you step by step.
“with gentleness and respect. Maintain a clean conscience, so that those who slander you for living a pure life in Christ will have to lie about you and will be ashamed because of their slander” 1 Peter 3:16(TPT)

Be consistent in your walk in the faith.

Don’t give up your purposeful life because of people who don’t understand you.
The truth will always come up no matter how slow it may seem.
“The LORD is fighting for you! So be still!” Exodus 14:14(GW)
Again don’t descend into their level.
Don’t start making a tour of going round to explain your side of the story.
Actually, you may just be letting some people know for the first time what the gossip was about in your bid to “clear the air.”
“But I promise you, no weapon meant to hurt you will succeed, and you will refute every accusing word spoken against you. This promise is the inheritance of Yahweh’s servants, and their vindication is from me,” says Yahweh.” Isaiah 54:17(TPT)

Keep doing the right thing God has instructed you to do.
Their false stories and rumors are to distract you.
Remember Nehemiah when he was building the wall.
Sanballat and Tobiah are always around. (Nehemiah 4-6)
Stay focused on your call.
Never join the gossip prayer meeting.
Don’t enjoy the negative stories about others.
If another child of your father truly falls, pray and restore such.
(Galatians 6)
“How ecstatic you can be when people insult and persecute you and speak all kinds of cruel lies about you because of your love for me!” Matthew 5:11 (TPT)

Are we blind?

Are we blind?
“Jesus told him, “I came to judge the people of this world. I am here to give sight to the blind and to make blind everyone who can see.” “When the Pharisees heard Jesus say this, they asked, “Are we blind?””Jesus answered, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty. But now that you claim to see, you will keep on being guilty.””John‬ ‭9:39-41( ‭CEV‬‬‬‬‬‬)‬‬‬‬‬‬

When you take the position of the Pharisees on spiritual issues, you are blind.
You need to examine and evaluate your self whether you are truly seeing God at work.
Do you have the mind of Christ on issues, or you just flow with what is popular?
In the Kingdom of God, it is about what God is saying.

It’s never about tradition nor fame.

The Pharisees were so much into seeing things naturally that they became blind to the move of God.
Are you also blind to the supernatural around you?

“Who is as blind as my servant Israel or as deaf as the messenger I send? Who is as blind as my covenant friend, as blind as Yahweh’s servant? Israel, you have seen so much, but you don’t get it! You have been taught so much, but what did you really hear?” Isaiah 42:19-20 (TPT)

Eli, the old prophet, thought Hannah was drunk.
He was spiritually blind.
When Jesus talked about the temple being destroyed and built again in three days

The leaders then accused him of wanting to destroy the physical temple.
Do you see dancing entertainment when others are sincerely worshiping God?
Are you off the frequency of what God is saying and doing?

Don’t get so used to God that you have confined and limited Him.

Don’t be a blind and deaf servant of the Lord.
Keep in tune with the Word and the Holy Spirit.
Learn to discern and hear God on a continuous and consistent basis.
“Stop!” Samuel said. “Let me tell you what the Lord told me last night.” “All right,” Saul answered. 1 Samuel 15:16 (CEV)
What did God tell you last night…?
What is God telling you now?
Are you blind?
“To know you is to experience a flowing fountain, drinking in your life, springing up to satisfy. In your light, we receive the light of revelation.” Psalm 36:9(TPT)
Work and Walk in the Light of God.

Stationed them all where they belong.

Stationed them all where they belong.
“Lift up your eyes to the sky and see for yourself. Who do you think created the Cosmos? He lit every shining star and formed every glowing galaxy, and stationed them all where they belong. He has numbered, counted, and given everyone a name. They shine because of God’s incredible power” Isaiah 40:26(TPT)

The Prophet Isaiah in this text affirmed the sovereignty of God.
Particularly in positioning each member of the Cosmos.
HE perfectly placed them where they belong.

You are created by God and pre-ordained for His purpose in life.

Why are you moving all around aimlessly?
Why are you trying to fit into every position in life?
Why not locate where He has purposed for you to be?

Before you were born, HE had plans for you.

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born,
I set you apart for my holy purpose. I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5(GW)
Stop trying to become everybody but your original self as created by God.
Jesus reminded us again that God created and cared for the lilies.

However, His plan for you much more Superior and Better.
“Why worry about clothes? Look how the wildflowers grow. They don’t work hard to make their clothes. But I tell you that Solomon, with all his wealth, wasn’t as well clothed as one of them. God gives such beauty to everything that grows in the fields, even though it is here today and thrown into a fire tomorrow. He will surely do even more for you! Why do you have such little faith?” Matthew 6:28-30(CEV)

Put your trust in the definite plan of God for your life.
Build up your faith through reading and hearing the Word of God personally.
Salvation is contingent on your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Draw closer to HIM.
Get to know HIM better Daily.
Stop running from pillar to post, looking at what is going on in other lives.
Your unique life is more colorful and absolutely purposeful.
Locate and stay where He has positioned you to grow and prosper.
