Peter knocked at the door… Peter continued knocking

Peter knocked at the door… Peter continued knocking

“And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.  And when she knew Peter’s voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate. And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.  But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door and saw him, they were astonished.” Acts 12:13-16 (KJV)

They were praying for Peter, and when God answered their prayers, they did not believe.

People may be telling you that they are praying for you, but when they see the manifestation of answered prayers in your life, they may not believe.

Don’t go away from that place of prayers and fellowship because of the way they are responding to you.

Peter Knocked and continued knocking.

That was the place where Peter was sent to testify and encourage the body of Christ.

Imagine what would have happened if Peter left that place and started strolling all about on the street that night because they did not initially believe in the miracle God has done even though “they were praying for him.”

“It wasn’t an enemy who taunted me. If it was my enemy, filled with pride and hatred, then I could have endured it. I would have just run away. But it was you, my intimate friend—one like a brother to me. It was you, my advisor the companion I walked with and worked with!  We once had sweet fellowship with each other. We worshiped in unity as one, celebrating together with God’s people” Psalm 55:12-14 (TPT)

Sometimes it’s the “friendly fire” that hurts the most.

Don’t just react to what those close to you are doing.

Listen to the Holy Spirit and learn what it is the process HE is taking you through.

Peter knocked at the door. Peter continued knocking

His servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light?

His servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light?

“Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.” (Isaiah 50:10) KJV

Sometimes, the people of God will go through periods of darkness.

You have read, prayed, listened carefully to the sermon, you did your homework, you fasted… however, you arrived in darkness.

You woke up in crisis with your children, with no money, problems with your spouse, health issues, etc.

The question we ask during these circumstances is: Why? Why me?

As we celebrate the Easter season, let us remember that Jesus went through all these challenges.

His arrest, false accusations, biased trial, and the crucifixion.

How do you react during darkness?

What do you do when the light goes off?

Remember Job? Or Habakkuk? Also, the apostle Paul?

They all had some experiences.

Amid their challenges, God did not abandon them.

Ressurection is coming.

What are you going through now?

Easter season reminds us again that you will overcome.

John Milton wrote a book called “Paradise Lost,” after he went blind.

John Bunyan wrote “The Pilgrim’s Progress’ from prison in Bedford.

John wrote the book of Revelation when he was in exile at Patmos.

Apostle Paul wrote Philippians, the Epistle of Joy when he was in prison.

What do you do when momentarily you don’t understand what is going on with you?

Don’t curse God.

Even when some brethren abandon you, feel lonely and alone.

He the Alpha and Omega said He would never leave you nor forsake you.

Ressurection is around the corner.

Can you imagine, Tiger Woods became the Master again !!!

Don’t give up.

I will give thee a Crown

I will give thee a Crown

“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.” James 1:12 KJV

“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” Revelation 2:10 KJV

Did you know that all true believers will receive a crown when they enter heaven?

Yes, this is not a fairy tale, this is a biblical truth.

It is important to remember this when we are in trouble when we have problems when we have difficulties in life when we are tempted.

This truth will give us hope and power to move on.

What kind of Crowns are they?

Well, the First Crown is the crown of life, as we can see in the above verses. This crown will be given to those who conquer the temptations and stay firm in their faith to the end of their earthly life.

The Crown of righteousness – this Crown will be received by those who are fighting the good fight, will finish the race and love His appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7, 8)

The Imperishable Crown – will be received by those who lead others to Jesus. (see 1 Corinthians 9:25).

The Crown of glory – will be received by those who are shepherds of the flock of God. (see 1 Peter 5:2-4)

The Crown of gold – will be won by those who died as martyrs for their faith in Jesus Christ. (see Revelation 4:4)

Isn’t it amazing?

Remain faithful to the covenant You made with God.

You will Reign and Rule with Him.

You will receive His crown!

Be strong !!!

Temptations and Victories.

Temptations and Victories.

“Then Jesus said to him, Begone, Satan! For it has been written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him alone shall you serve. Then the devil departed from Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him” Matthew‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭-11 AMPC‬‬

If Satan wasn’t afraid to tempt Jesus, he definitely wouldn’t be scared to tempt you.

Jesus defeated Satan, through speaking the Word and relying entirely on the power of the Holy Spirit.

Throughout our entire Christian lives, we will be attacked in as many ways as possible.

Our enemy will try to defeat us, and destroy us.

First temptation: Get out of the will of God.

Jesus did not succumb to the hasty satisfaction of his hunger

He was to feed over five thousand people and many more.

He could have chosen to satisfy His own needs, but He didn’t.

He fed the people.

Second temptation: Misleading through the word of God.

The second temptation was even worse than the first one!

If Jesus quoted the Word of God, Satan did the same.

Satan will deceitfully use the scriptures against you.

It manipulated the Word to Adam and Eve at the garden of Eden

Third temptation: Salvation without the cross.

The enemy offered Jesus a shortcut to the Kingdom!

The cross is the center of Christianity!

Satan couldn’t make Jesus forfeit the Cross.

Be careful of the “often juicy shortcut.”

Suggestions will come to you :

To  neglect the cross, refuse it, despise it, or minimize it

Don’t be ashamed of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God

Don’t get out of the Perfect will of God.

Don’t misuse the Word of God

Don’t forsake your Cross.

Our Lord and Savior was Victorious. So You will too by His Grace.

“Integrity will lead you to success.”

“Integrity will lead you to success.”

“Integrity will lead you to success and happiness, but treachery will destroy your dreams.” Proverbs‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭TPT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Jesus is the perfect example of a man of integrity.

Satan came to Him at His weakest to try to break His integrity and corrupt Him.

He did not compromise

He spoke the word of God at every point of temptation

He never sinned (Hebrews 4:15)

We are saved and called to be like Him.

Our lives should line up with our belief in God

We should walk the talk. (Proverbs 3:5–6).

“To the faithful, you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity.” 2 Samuel‬ ‭22:26‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

King David declared :

“I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.” 1 Chronicles‬ ‭29:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬

What about you ?.

Integrity will enable you to fulfill your dreams

Treachery in any form or shape will destroy your dreams

Don’t pull down others so that only you can shine.

“The integrity of the honest keeps them on track; the deviousness of crooks brings them to ruin.” ‭Proverbs‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭MSG‬‬‬‬‬‬
