About The Confession of Sins.
“When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night, thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord and; thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.” Psalm 32:3-5( KJV)
An essential aspect of the Christian life is confessing your sins to God. You cannot become a Christian if you don’t confess your sins.
Why is the confession of sins so important?
The confession of sins will allow you to experience God’s forgiveness. After he confessed his sins to God, David said that God forgave him.
The confession of sins will restore your emotional and physical strength. Please, don’t forget this:
Nothing will exhaust you more than the denial that you are a sinner
Nothing will reinvigorate you more than a forgiven life.
The confession of sins will help you to move forward.
On the Christian path, you have to move forward.
Unconfessed sins will prevent you from moving forward.
Confessing your sins will help you to grow.
Your sin will stop you from growing.
Your sins are stopping you from becoming more like Jesus.
If you want to become more like Jesus and experience spiritual growth, you need to confess your sins.
“If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.” 1 JOHN 1:10 (KJV)
Once you miss it, don’t hide your sin.
Promptly confess, repent and draw upon His Grace.
The Grace of God enables you to live Victoriously.
Thomas Edison once said that: “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10000 ways that won’t work.”
Allow the Holy Spirit to perfect you daily.
Application for the Christian life:
Recognize and confess your sins.
Experience God’s forgiveness.
Daily Grow in His Love and Grace.
