You’re not one who speaks only to win the people’s favor

” So they approached him and said, “Teacher, we know that you’re an honest man of integrity and you teach us the truth of God’s ways. We can clearly see that you’re not one who speaks only to win the people’s favor because you speak the truth without regard to the consequences. So tell us, then, what you think. Is it proper for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?” Mark 12:14 (TPT)

One of the outstanding qualities of Our Lord Jesus Christ, identified by the Pharisees was the ability to speak the truth as it is

He did not talk to, please men and curry favor

What manner, of speech do you have?

Do you speak to please people?

What can be said of you regarding speaking about others?

Are you swayed by people’s background, color or race being rich or poor?

Make a quality decision today that you will not only speak the truth but emulate the Lord Jesus Christ in speaking the truth and nothing but the truth at all times.
